Chapter 8 - Chapter Six: She deserves it.

"Did you see what Aaron posted in the group chat last night?."

The hallway was buzzing with noise as me and Femmy walked through it,hand in hand towards the cafeteria. I couldn't count the amount of times juniors had bumped into us, running to heaven knows where.

I cringed as we pass by the Jssone class,and a girl screamed suddenly. "Yeah. Saw it last night."

"I can't believe he'd do something like that-posting the girl's nudes like that. Boys are cruel o."  I rolled my eyes.

"Why would she send him her nudes in the first place?." Femmy didn't say anything, just hummed in agreement. 

"Haleema looked so upset this morning. She said she won't talk to him for a longgg time. That why would he have another girl's nude in the first place,not to talk of broadcasting it like that."

Smart girl. I never even liked the guy anyway.

We turned left and climbed the stairs that led to the labs, library,hall and cafeteria.

"Funny thing is,the poor girl doesn't even know about it yet. The whole class 12 has seen her naked and she doesn't even know. So sad."

What's sad about that?

Girl shouldn't have sent a guy her nudes in the first place. I mean,tf? She's only fourteen!

Uwazie Jennifer is a class 11 student. She's fourteen,looks like an innocent someone ,but in reality she's a b-tch. A b-tch who's slept with half of the senior boys of DLC.

Last semester she was dating Justin Akomaye.

Now it's Kelvin. 

And she also seems to have a major crush on Aaron.

"She deserves it." Nifemi came to an abrupt stop and stared at me with her mouth ajar. Rolling my eyes,I kept on walking, leaving her behind and heading towards the lunch lady. 

I grabbed a food tray and headed towards our regular table,with Femmy following behind.

Today's menu:

Jollof rice and an almost non existent meat.

That thing was literally drowning in the rice. I could mistakenly scoop it with my rice and eat it with it. That was how small the meat is.

"Nawa ooo. So this is what I paid 25,000 for?," Just like me,Femmy was also staring at her plate-at the meat, with distaste.

DLC's cafeteria was just as big as it's hall room. With over two hundred seats and tables, arranged in rows. 

It was nine seats for one table. The seniors had their own area, while the juniors had theirs. Ours was at the very end of the cafeteria, while juniors sat from the entrance,to the middle of the room.

Femmy and I were sitted in our usual table,with seven vacant seats left, eating our meal in silence. But that silence was short lived as the cafeteria door bursted open and seven figures stepped into the room.

Class twelve boys entered the cafeteria with style. And by style, I meant noise.

Kamiye,Mikel,Aaron, Chidera,Erik,Ayden and the new kid,Andrei.

The notorious seven. The noisemakers.

Each yapping about one thing or the other,they made their way towards Femmy and I. Yes, unfortunately we had to share a table with them....most times. That was if the girls weren't sitting with us.

Sigh. There goes my peace.

Kamiye said something to Erik that resulted in him slapping him upside the head,and the rest of the boys bursted into fits of laughter a second later, laughing like hyenas.

I don't get it. What's so funny?

"Kinfe baby." Ughhh,kill me!.

Six of them sat opposite and around us,and Mikel made sure he sat right next to me. Femmy on my left,and Mikel on my right.

"Miss me?." He bumped his shoulder with mine,wearing that stupid grin on his face I so wanted to slap off.

I shut my eyes and count to five in my head,then opened them again. " We've literally been in the same class since this morning, Mikel."

"So that's a no?." I sent him a dead pan look,then returned my gaze to me food and started eating.

"Hey man, come sit with us!." Kamiye yelled suddenly.

It had not even been a minute since they got here and they were already making so much noise.

"Ohemgee." I snapped my gaze to Nifemi who was staring intently at the floor,her fists clutching her school skirt,and her eyes wide. And then this really big smile slowly appeared on her face.

What in the name of-

"Hi guys." I snapped my gaze away from the smiling girl,to the figure standing above our table.

Oh.

"Grab a chair,my guy." Mikel said, smiling at him. Infact, everyone was smiling at him. And Nifemi?.

She stared at him with a dreamy look in her eyes. And then it clicked.

I watched as the fair guy pulled out a chair from the table close to ours and sat it in-between Femmy and Ayden. I watched him smile at Femmy and the guys.

I watched my best friend have a mini panic attack….And then I knew for sure.

Someone has a crushhhh.
