~Talfen, the capital of Coldshore~
~Inner Court, Reqiel's Palace~
Reqiel woke up in his bed to find Sarell sitting at his usual spot by the fireplace and for a few seconds, he stared unblinkingly at his personal attendant, trying to figure out what was wrong.
"Your Highness, you're awake," Sarell hurried over to his side, a telltale look of disapproval on his face.
Reqiel didn't respond, his head tilted to the side with a frown on his face. Sarell looked the same and odd at the same time but he couldn't tell why.
"Crown Prince Cederic brought you to the palace, and I was informed that you drank wine?" He carefully said, his tone steeped in disbelief.
It was at this point that Reqiel finally figured out what threw him off about Sarell, "What happened to your hair?" He asked blankly.
"Your Highness, please, I'm trying to discuss a matter of grave importance with you." Sarell said tightly, troubled that perhaps Earth was a terrible choice for the youngest prince after all.
