Nerae quickly got over his fever and as the days went by, he even started to get over Cirion's absence, returning to the life he had before the prince crashed into his life. Jarrett kept suggesting that he get another hire, but he couldn't tell the other Angel that Cirion was the furthest thing from a hire an Angel could be.
The days turned into weeks and soon a month had gone by, getting out of his bed didn't get any easier, and the bleak monotony made his head heavy. He hated that the life he had gotten accustomed to had been disrupted and after he had gotten a little too comfortable with having someone else around, he was forced back to his old life.
Nerae knew that all he needed was more time, in a few years, he would only remember Cirion once in a while as an irritating memory that refused to be forgotten and even as the years dragged further on, he would completely forget the other.
