POV Mike
With Mike's assurance that Morganrote would stand ready to assist, Superman informed him that the leaders of each faction in the defense would have a video conference to settle on a plan in 4 hours. Mike was asked to prepare and be there.
(All of this depends on which Warworld it is. Young Justice Warworld, or Batman the Brave and the bold warmoon, would not be that bad. If it was one of the comic versions, well, the first appearance version should be fine as long as Superman is participating. The others, though,) Mike shuddered, imagining Warworld prime or one of the lesser based on it showing up.
Mike considered maybe using an asteroid to build a cyclops system and slamming it into the base. He did not have time to build a reqium system or a genesis system. Mike sat in thought, Turn A could be an option, but he could not afford to summon it or get the blueprints. He at least had the cyclops system blueprints he had bought them for their original purpose and was getting a system ready to mine Neptune for resources.
Still in deep thought, Mike looked again at the system store before he got a crazy idea. He selected a piece of tech from the original Mobile Suit Gundam, as well as another piece of tech from seed. (Now it all depends on what the others say and if they are willing to work with me)
*DING* Quest begun Rising Star
Objectives:
1: Convice others to follow you.
2: Gather sufficient forces to face Warworld.
3:Protect Solar System(It's your turf!)
4: Send a message to others not to try the same.
Rewards: Shining Gundam, Eternal, White Base, Blueprints for Zaku (Gundam seed version), Guncannon Guntank, (Mobile Suit Gundam,) RGM-96X Jesta, (Gundam Unicorn,) 2000000 Mission Points
Mike was stunned. This mission had the most objectives and rewards he had seen from any mission. ( It probably means it's going to be the hardest mission I have undertaken to this date.) He thought to himself. Mike realized that the time was approaching for the meeting. He called his team together, and they met on the bridge of the Archangel. He gave them a brief statement of what was coming and told them flat out if they had any questions or concerns to voice them.
The screen on the bridge came to life as he saw Superman it then split into several screens as they came to life he saw Nick Fury representing Shield, Tony Stark, Reed Richards, General Wells, along with a few others high ranking Generals representing the UN. Mike also saw Professor Xavier, who Mike ignored. Also present were representatives from the Martians.
Superman began the meeting by explaining what exactly warworld was and how it was piloted by a madman named Mongul. The Martians did not mention the crystal key, so Moke made the assumption that it was not the first variant. Fury asked how powerful they were talking. Hal Jordan piped in, stating he had a record of the last attack by it on a nearby star system. He showed an image of it, and Mike sighed in relief, It was the Young Justice Variant. It wasn't as bad as it could be, but it was still bad. Young Justice nerfed it a little, but it was still insanely overpowered.
The leaders were all busy talking over one another to notice Mike's slip-up, though. Mike yelled loudly that it cut through the rest of the yelling and got everyone's attention. "Superman, I may have a plan, but I need to verify some information if you can." Superman looked at Mike nodding for him to continue.
"First how big is it?" Mike asked
"Bigger than one of Saturn's Moons" Hal replied.
"What kid of crew does it house?"
"As far as we know only Mongul, but it is large enough to house a gigantic army."
Mike then turned his attention to General Wells and the UN representatives.
"How many companies are you capable of employing to make a certain item to specifications. No circuitry just a piece of metal with a mirror shine. Preferably titanium or another metal able to handle the rigors of space?"
They could not answer immediately but said they would have the awnser within the hour.
"How many forces do we have space worthy?"
100 Javelin shuttles with weapon systems, 4 green lanterns with more in the way plus about 20 leaguers capable of fighting in space." Superman answered.
"SHIELD and our counterpart SWORD can add another 200 spacecraft to the defense," Fury reaponded
The Martians agreed to send up 300 Bioships due to how great a threat was facing them. They also asked to send a representative to Morganrote's space base to help coordinate. Mike agreed to this easily.
Mike then revealed his plan. " I call it Operation Relentless." Mike said, "It is a 4 part attack designed to knock this weapon down and finish it quickly." Mike explained.
"First step involves this," Mike showed an image of a cyclops system.
"What is that?" Batman asked
"It's called a cyclops system," Mike explained. "It was originally meant for mining frozen asteroids and planets. When overcharged, it releases a force about equal to a nuclear bomb. We build 6 of these in asteroids with simple Pseudo GN Drive engines and set them to drift to look like normal asteroids. When that monstrosity comes past the asteroid belt, we hit it with all 6 from behind. Hopefully, damaging engines and other vital equipment."
Mike could see he had their attention. He was sure Fury was going to bite his head off for keeping that tech concealed from him.
Mike then turned to Fury. " I need a team of special forces with EOD expirence for this next part." Fury nodded
"After the first blow, we will show ourselves to try to lure this Mongul in. Using the Archangel, Freedom, and the rest of our space forces, we draw him in."
"The boarding party will have these," Mike showed an image of a Gungir form Gundam Seed. Which he had toned down and made man portable. The force would be less but should be enough if set off near the core of the war world to really mess things up.Mike explained that they were EMP bombs powerful enough to take out everything electronic in 150 meters.
Mike then explained how their ships would fire on the warworld, continuing to draw it in and Gove the boarding party time to escape.
"The finishing blow will be from this."
Mike pulled out a blueprint for the Solar Flare superweapon from Mobile Suit Gundam. The least powerful but also the simplest to build out of the superweapons demonstrated across the Gundam series.
"To pull this off, we all have to work together. Please begin making preparations, and we will have another meeting in two hours to discuss logistics. If done properly, we will have a decisive blow to deal with this bastard. Make no mistake, there will be casulties. Once we start, we will have to either kill or capture this Mongul. if we let him escape, it will be the end of us when he comes back." Mike said seriously.
