An enthusiastic smile flickered across Shawn's already handsome face, "She came to Baltimore specially to treat Nana and from what she said, she'll not be going back soon as she has other matters to attend to here in Baltimore."
He straightened his suit and lifted his chin before announcing,
"And I have promised myself to give her my unreserved assistance in any way she might be needing it for as long as she's in Baltimore."
He paused, took a look at the exquisite leather watch on his wrist and furrowed his brow, "But I wonder what is still keeping her?"
"Waiting on her throughout her stay in Baltimore is a great sacrifice, I must say," commended Kathleen with a mock sincerity.
The corners of her mouth lifted in a mischievous smirk. "You are still very smart after so many years, Shawny." She had deliberately used the appellation "Shawny" knowing fully well that he hated being called that.
