"Minami, you're doing a really great job! Look at this! You've gained over 300 followers in the last month!" Naoto beamed with pride as he pointed to Minami's follower count.
"I feel like that is still slow growth…" Minami replied with a touch of shyness. Part of her was still a little scared to fully allow herself to get exciting over progress, and she also held herself to an even higher standard than before.
"No! It's good! Be happy with whatever win you get. This is amazing, especially considering…." His voice trailed off as he realized that he wasn't completely sure if it was hard for her to talk about or not.
Minami picked up on his hesitation, "You can say it…."
She didn't really want to hear about it or keep reliving it, but talking about it may start to desensitize her and help her get over it.
