Yuu stared up at the golden sun, shielding his eyes from the blinding light with his hand as an overwhelming warmth overtook him. It was nice…this warmth. Why did it feel so wonderful? He couldn't remember a time that the sun felt so dang good. He took a deep breath of clean crisp air as he looked out at the lush green grass that seemed to go on forever.
"Yuu! Yuu!" a sweet voice called out to him. It was a familiar one, but whose was it? He couldn't remember.
"YUU! Look out!"
He gasped, a sudden sense of panic attacking him like a virus as he jumped back just in time to avoid a rubber ball that was about to hit his head.
"What are you doing?! Pay better attention! Are you okay?" The female voice which had been calling to him had gotten closer, coming up behind him.
