Scene: New York Port
As Lia and Whitehat speed towards the abandoned Blackwatch blacksite, tensions are high. They know they're racing against time to reach Glitch before Agent 47 and Amila.
Whitehat: We're almost there.
Lia: We have to hurry. If they get to Glitch first...
Whitehat: We won't let that happen.
Their determination fuels them as they approach the port, weaving through the maze of shipping containers and industrial machinery.
Scene: Agent 47's hideout
Agent 47 and Amila stand in a dimly lit room, their faces masked in shadows as they discuss their next move.
Agent 47: We need to deal with this now.
Amila: The boss won't like that.
Agent 47: Do you want to know what will happen if Glitch escapes and finds that hard drive?
Amila: You were certain that he doesn't know where it is.
Agent 47: Yeah... but I think he knows who has it.
Amila: So what do we do?
Agent 47: We deal with this like we always do...
Agent 47: Cut. Loose. Ends.
Amila: And what about our... Other guest?
Agent 47: Zack... Zack is still lost inside the shell of the man he used to be.
Amila: Are you trying all the protocols?
Agent 47: What do you think? Look in that fucking room!
As Agent 47 opens the door, we see Zack bound to a chair, listening to the protocols from Agent 47's team.
Amila: Keep trying, and I'll have a talk with Glitch.
Agent 47: Be my guest.
Amila walks into Glitch's room. He's tied to a chair, bloody and sweaty.
Glitch: (laughs) What now, 47? Wanna know where I buried my mother?
Amila: Well, that IS a way to start a conversation.
Glitch: Oh, a new one. What's your specialty? Physical torture, psychological, data extraction? Never thought I'd see a new face, and such a pretty one at that.
Amila: Flirting? With the enemy? You know better than that, Ethan...
Glitch: (dead serious) Ethan died when my family died.
Amila: Your sister is alive.
Glitch: (sarcastic) Really? I haven't noticed, by the fact that Agent 47 threatened to kill her.
Glitch: So, what's your specialty?
Amila: Recruitment.
Glitch bursts into laughter.
Glitch: You think I'd work for you after what your friend did to me?
Amila: I think you would do what you can to survive.
Glitch: laughs even harder
Glitch: What's your name?
Amila: Amila.
Glitch: Well then, Amila.
Glitch: Let me tell you something.
Glitch: gestures for her to come closer
Glitch: as Amila approaches, he headbutts her and starts laughing again
Glitch: Amila... I died when I was kidnapped. There was a 0% chance I'd get out of here.
Glitch: One thing I know...
Glitch: You will never find that hard drive.
Amila (rubs her head): Fuck you. Now I see why Agent 47 wants to kill you.
Glitch: He does?! What an honor! (sarcastic)
[We cut to the other room]
Agent: Protocol Delta 1238.
[As Zack hears this protocol, his face changes ever so slightly. No one notices, but Zack Manstor is back...]
Zack (thinking): Fucking idiot... Split personality couldn't even escape this bullshit.
Zack (thinking): Okay, who caught me... This seems like Agent 47's team.
Zack (thinking): Well, I'll do what I can.
Zack (speaking out loud, like his split personality): Hey, I need to go to the bathroom, sir, please.
Agent: Shut up.
Zack: Please, just a quick bathroom break.
Other agent: Just take him to the bathroom so he shuts the fuck up.
Agent: unlocks his chains and grabs him by the arm
Zack (thinking): Fucking idiot.
Zack tackles the agent who has him by the arm. Another agent tries to shoot Zack but misses. Zack grabs the gun from the agent he tackled, then shoots both agents in the head.
Zack: Fucking idiots. Never let a target out of their chains.
Agent 47 and Amila rush into the room.
Agent 47: This can't be...
Amila: Welcome back to the living world, Zack.
Zack takes his gun and shoots Agent 47 in the shoulder.
Agent 47: FUCK!
Amila: (puts her hands up) Hey, I'm no threat.
Zack: No threat... NO FUCKING THREAT?
Zack: Because of you, my Nestor is dead.
Amila: Your Nestor...?
Zack: Oh, you didn't fucking know?
Zack: Nestor was...
Before he could finish his sentence, Lia and Whitehat burst into the blacksite. They see Agent 47 wounded in the shoulder, Amila with her hands up, and the living legend, Zack Manstor.
Zack aims his gun at them and asks Amila:
Zack: Blackwatch or S.H.A.D.E.?
Amila gulps and says: S.H.A.D.E.
Zack shoots Amila in the head.
Zack:I didnt ask you, bitch.
Agent 47: NO!
Zack: SHUT THE FUCK UP.
Zack aims the gun at them again and this time asks:
Zack:why are you two here?
Whitehat tries to speak, but Lia stops him.
Lia: My brother is locked in this blacksite, and I'm here for him and him only.
Zack looks at her: Well, you ain't my sister.
Lia: No... My brother is Ethan Carter.
Zack: Who?
Lia: code name Glitch?
Zack's eyes widen in shock.
Zack looks at Agent 47: You still haven't fucking killed him.
Lia looks at Zack in shock.
Agent 47: It wasn't the order.
Zack: I GAVE THE ORDER.
Lia looks at Zack and asks him:
Lia: Blackwatch or S.H.A.D.E, Zack?
Zack smiles: Neither. I left this world.
Zack: I'll let you be. I don't have beef with Blackwatch agents anymore.
Agent 47: You, YOU BETRAYED THE ORGANIZATION! YOU WERE AMAZING, AND NOW LOOK AT YOU
Zack: YOU KILLED MY FUCKING S-
Before Zack could finish, a loud and echoing gunshot is heard.
Zack: W...what n...now? He looks down and sees his shirt bloody, a shot to the heart
Zack: Well... I had (gasps for air) had a good run.
As Zack collapses, he grabs Lia and whispers something in her ear. Then Reddington walks in with a sniper.
Reddington: Well.. he's fucking dead.
Agent 47: YOU IDIOT! YOU JUST KILLED MY ONLY CHANCE T-
Reddington puts his gun to the head of 47.
Reddington: Shut it.
Reddington ties up Agent 47 to a pole.
Reddington: I'm gonna go now.
Lia: Wait!
Lia: why did you kill him?
Reddington smiles:you dont need to know liltle 1.
Lia runs through the black site looking for any sign of Glitch. She enters the room where he's held, seeing him bloody, sweaty, and beaten up, looking at the floor.
Glitch (sarcastic): What now, Amila? I heard gunshots. Who angered our favorite agent 4-
Before he can finish, Lia rushes to him and hugs him.
Glitch, surprised, looks at her, realizing who it is.
Glitch: Lia!!!
Lia: Ethan!
Lia takes the chains off him, and he hugs her even more tightly.
Glitch, tearing up: It's really you.
Lia: It's really me.. *tearing up*
Glitch: How!?!
Lia: Don't worry about that now...
As Glitch and Lia walk out, Glitch sees Whitehat.
Glitch: Who is that?
Lia: Well, that's Whitehat.
Glitch's eyes widen in confusion and shock.
Glitch: The Whitehat?
Whitehat: The one and only.
Glitch: Ah, I heard about you from the higher-ups. I considered you to join my team.
Whitehat: Well, it's a pleasure to be meeting you, Mr. Ethan.
Glitch looks at him: Please call me Glitch.
Whitehat: Well, okay then, Glitch.
As they continue down the black site, they reach 47 still tied up with the bullet wound at his shoulder.
Glitch: YOU.
Lia calms him down: Hey, it's fine. He's tied up. He can't hurt you now.
Glitch takes off his gag and asks him.
Glitch: Why.. why did you want this hard drive so much? I knew a small amount of what's on it, but WHY?
Agent 47: coughs You think I break this easily?
Glitch: Come on! WHY DID YOU BETRAY BLACKWATCH AND JOIN S.H.A.D.E?
Agent 47: Does it fucking matter? Both are sides of the same coin.
Glitch: What do you mean?
Agent 47: S.H.A.D.E is trying to take the world in secret and control it behind the shadows... In the "Shade".
Glitch: ...
Agent 47: Recognize that speech?
Glitch: almost the Same one the director gave last year...
Agent 47: Like I said, sides of the same coin. The fact that I chose the winning side, the side that was longer in the game.
Agent 47: Only question is, why are you sticking to the losing side?
Glitch looks down and sees Zack Manstor's dead body.
Glitch: Is that...?
Agent 47: Zack Manstor.
Agent 47 looks at Glitch and says, "Well, Glitch, let's get this over with."
Glitch looks at 47.
Glitch: Head or heart?
Agent 47: Hea-
Before Agent 47 finishes, Glitch takes the gun from the floor and shoots him in the head.
