Zachery awoke from his nap as he felt extreme pain on all sides of his body. He winced as he peered about, noticing Nessa, who was sleeping soundly beside him, grasping his hand so tightly that she appeared to be scared of him leaving elsewhere.
Zachery smiled as he looked around, nodding to himself that he found himself inside his room. He looked outside the window and saw that the darkness had blanketed the sky.
Alexander smiled as he saw his wife sleeping peacefully, but Zachery's mind was in a different place altogether.
