"MAYDAY, MAYDAY, DUCKING MAYDAY!!! THIS IS A053 FLYER UNIT GOING TO FORCE LAND ON AN UNKNOWN PLANET!!" I barked at the hologram figure as I stared at the second engine that had overheated and been destroyed.
We entered the planet's stratosphere as a heavy blizzard compromised our vision.
'Shit, Shit, Shit, Shit!!! Damn it, MARKUS!! BRACE FOR IMPACT!!!!" I hollered at my flight mate, not caring if my voice could even be heard over all the turbulence and blizzard.
"Negative, A053 unit, you are not authorized to land on a red-marked planet, I repeat, you are not authorized to land." The sentence was conveyed in a blunt way by the holographic male voice.
"What the duck do you want us to do? Fart our way up?" Markus railed at the hologram apparition, contempt seeping from every word.
The wailing of alarms and red lights glimmering dimmed our spirits as my flying mate, whom I had met just before boarding the plane, exclaimed, "Damn it, man! This is not in line with protocol! How the hell did the engine catch fire!!"
"There is the Mother System, right?" I spoke with desperation and a sliver of hope in my voice.
"It's no ducking use bruv, Those shits removed the Mother System the time we left Xerion," Markus laughed a cold laugh, accepting our impending demise.
As I looked at the searing snowstorm on this planet, I experienced several expressions: shock, fury, and finally despair. As our blazing jet began to malfunction more due to our primary and secondary engines failing, I tried to direct it to descend.
"Sigh," I sighed, putting an end to my futile effort and accepting my fate.
I was going to die.
I was gonna die like a ducking worm.
"Boss, are we really going to die?" A petite person seated in the back of the jet spoke, her voice tearing down and sobbing at the end of the sentence.
"I'm sorry, Eli, sent your old man a voice log before..." I stopped my sentence at that as Elizabeth fiddled with a wristband-like device.
Despite the shrill alarms and the odd flash of fire from the back of the jet, there was a calm feeling in the cabin as they prepared for their final moments.
As for me?
As many people would have guessed, I had no one.
I was the sole definition of loneliness.
As the surface of the planet became visible to our eyes, I peered down the visor of the jet. As we watched the snowstorm, we were enveloped by cold snow.
Our last beacon of hope was lost.
The planet was inhabitable for Non-Hunters like us.
"Sigh," Markus was the one who sighed this time. "Seriously! We're undoubtedly going to perish from the cold if the crash doesn't kill us."
The turbulence worsened when the jet's wing collided with one of the massive ice mountains, deviating from the planned course and crashing into the ground with a boom.
*BBBBBOOOOOOOMMMMMMM*
----------------------
"Urgh" I opened my one and only intact eye. My left eye's hazy vision made me mindful of my surroundings. As the blizzard pounded into my body savagely, the wreckage of metals and jet remains lay spread across the snow.
"COUGH, COUGH" I was truly standing up, or at least that was the angle of vision I had when I considered the height of my eyesight.
A scorching yet dull sensation in my belly told me otherwise, and when I looked down at my abdomen. I just...
I just gave up on everything.
I was pierced by a rod of Helicon steel, which was designed for use in common flyer unit jets. The rod had gone straight through my abdomen, and I was even levitating slightly due to the rod's steep angle.
I coughed up blood as I-
'KILL!'
Because they were all along my sides, looking to my sides, investigating the wreckage, and finding my partner's corpse was a breeze.
I foolishly thought so.
What greeted me rocked me to my core, and here I had assumed there would be no more surprises.
Well, I saw my flight partner's corpse. The only odd thing was that... Marcus, my flight partner was looking at me with an apathetic eye towards me... and snarled.
'KILL!'
"Those... ducking... shits... Was the... cargo... X-12???" I cursed in my mind as I returned the snarl of my partner.
I looked at my hands with a little hope but despaired as I had never been when I saw the first symptom of X-12 infection on my hands.
Red veins.
I looked at my flight partner sprinting towards me at high speed in the snow as I snarled and clicked my tongue in an unnatural way seeing the threat approaching me.
I raised my hands as claws erupted between my knuckles, and I saw a clearer glimpse of my companion. He was hunched back because he was covered in bulbous growths all over his shoulder. But, to say the least, the speed of my friend's corpse was frightening.
Sprinting to want a piece of my flesh and-
'KILL!'
'Oh, shut up!' As I tried to move by catching the rod with both hands, which were still forming claws between my knuckles, I pushed against the rod as I levitated further outwards.
My stomach and intestines were grinding against the rod as all the gore showed through, but as I moved, I became more detached from the pain. As I pushed the rod beyond my body, I realized one thing.
I was going to become a devourer in a matter of minutes.
I saw my friend dangerously approaching close to his foot and looking at me for a disturbing two seconds in pause.
As my intestine fell, I pressed forward myself on the rod, and some of the intestines piqued the curiosity of Markus, my friend, who grabbed my intestines that had fallen from my stomach and crammed them into his mouth.
My eyes grew milky white as I became unusually cold, and my thoughts rang with only one sound throughout the agony.
'KILL'
'EAT'
'KILL'
'EAT'
I gritted my teeth as I strained against the rod, but my friend had had enough of my guts as it marveled at me with weird lust, and this lust was not appropriate for anyone, regardless of your preference.
My 'friend' aligned himself just below me as it saw my struggle, and it jumped.
It caught my leg.
The pain that I was not feeling for a concerned period flared up again as gravity was now pulling me downwards with my friend.
I caught the rod as I pushed against the rod. My intestines were getting mangled as I was resisting the pull from my friend.
My mind turned cold and numb as I derived the most optimum result.
I started swinging my leg like a pendulum as I used the rod as the point of force.
An unusual amount of strength went through my hand as I grasped the rod with determination, determined not to be sliced like a pizza, and there was certainly someone hanging in my leg who had ordered precisely that.
When I came up with an appropriate angle, I held my entire body and my friend's entire body in a single hand as muscles mushroomed around my left arm. My muscles gripped the rod tightly as my entire body and my friend's corpse hung in my single palm.
'I wished for this power.' I thought for a split second as I clenched my hand and drew my claws forward, instinctively. 3 bone claws with viscera covering the bones rose to their glory.
I didn't waste one moment as I stabbed myself on the right side of my abdomen and created space for the rod to pass through.
When the right angle came, the strength of my left arm left and the rod skewered my intestine.
My partner and I began falling and the impact created a snow hole of our shapes.
Now, do I have any moment to rest?
NO!
I pulled my hand upwards into a cross guard, and not to disappoint my effort, I heard a shriek and some footsteps, and in no time, I was with my friend, avoiding his death bites and trying my best to survive futilely.
I moved my head to avoid a large powerful death bite. The bite made him luge forward a little.
I caught his head and I began to expertly hold his head as I put him in the triangle chokehold.
He successfully disarmed the situation with his strength as he tried to reverse the situation but I scrambled and reversed the hold.
I locked his head with my legs and went for a triangle again with my legs.
I got a strong lock on him as I locked, tightened, and...

Now, this is my second novel.
I think that I had caught the emotions of all the characters and portrayed and projected them so that you could also feel their desperation.
But did I REALLY?
I want all of your opinion on this.
Support me if you want to know what is going to happen next.
Oh, if you want to know how the scene of the jet crash looks, search for Callisto protocols prologue scene where their plane crashes.
I was kinda inspired by them.
Oh, and I am a complete beginner to all this novel stuff even though I wrote a novel already, so correct me if I get something wrong.
Oh, leave some comments, reviews, stones, and tickets(I don't know what's the use of tickets, can someone explain it to me?) for faster releases.
