"Isaac is the member of one of the strongest groups here...." she looked back at a group and I followed her gaze to find a group of people sitting at the table and eating their food quietly. No one talked or laughed, there was no interaction....just silence.
I scanned the whole group and my eyes fell on the girl with honey-tan skin and long black straightened hair, She had medium-arched eyebrows and even from afar her bluish-green eyes stole everyone's attention.
I remembered knocking into her yesterday and even though she was wearing a sweater now I definitely saw an orange badge on her.
Even the guy beside her was big and muscular with tattoos snaking up his arms disappearing inside the sleeves. He had a scar just above his eyebrow that came halfway down to his eyebrow and medium buzz-cut black hair.
He was rugged but definitely attractive and wore a displeased expression. He had a red badge and really seemed off-limits in a frightening way.
"You see that girl," the blond girl in front of me said and I realised I still don't know her name even though we have talked so much since yesterday, "This is what you call licking the foot of strong, she is called the Queen Bee here, being the prettiest in group she is worshiped by all the males here and her master the one beside her, everyone is scared of him....touch her and you'll surely end up in infirmary."
Even though she said so, the girl who they called Queen bee seemed different, her mannerism and the way they looked at each other didn't give off the feeling of him being her master, it was more like he treated her his equal...
"By the way...." I said focusing on the girl in front of me, "What is your name?"
"Oh right I never introduced myself, I'm Sophie," she smiled and I nodded. I knew Sophie was trying to help me but I kept getting the feel to keep my guard up against her.
Just my Spidey Tingles I guess.
I was casually scanning the group when my eyes fell on Isaac who stared at me from a distance. And the memories of last night passed through my head making me flinch.
"Directions to the office to collect my materials," I asked Sophie suddenly as she raised her head startled but still gave me directions nevertheless.
"I'll head to class since I'm done with my breakfast," I said and stood up to walk away when a girl with long wavy light blond hair rushed towards the group and flopped on the lap of a guy sitting there.
I placed my plate away and walked out heading towards the building where classes took place. I also needed to collect my books and locker key from the office so I hurried there without wasting time.
I asked for directions early on to Sophie so I wouldn't need to ask anyone around and go through the trouble of talking with them. I strode to the office and peeked my head through the counter.
"Hello, I'm Violet Hudson I'm here to collect my timetable, books and locker key."
The middle-aged man sitting there relaxed on the chair looked up at me and sighed loudly. He struggled up from the chair and walking inside came out with a bunch of books, a booklet and locker keys.
"Thank you," I said and he without responding got back to his work of resting in front of the table fan with his eyes close. I rolled my eyes inwardly and carrying the heavy weight started walking towards the lockers.
While I was walking I turned to the side and made eye contact with a tall guy with one side trimmed and the other side with long blond hair falling down his forehead. He smiled and pushed himself off the wall and started walking beside me.
I continued walking calmly without rushing forward to feign ignorance but I could feel his presence closing on me. I saw the lockers just up ahead and took a deep breath keeping my eyes ahead on the road.
'Just a little further.....'
My eyes scanned the lockers to find my locker 1309. When I found it I rushed to it and stopped in front, the guy following me stood beside me not leaving and kept staring at me without saying anything.
I opened the locker and pushed all the books inside and only kept the booklet out to check the class schedule.
"So are you the one everyone is talking about....The White Rose of Etnomia High?" He asked extending his hand to touch my badge as I flinched back and glared at him, he was an orange badge and I had noticed since yesterday.....it's always the orange badge ones that bother me. And what's with that awful annoying nickname, how is that even a nickname when it's longer than my real name!!
"Stay away," I warned and he sneered at me placing his hand above the locker and leaning in with an ugly smirk plastered on his face.
"Or what? You gonna hit me with those frail hands of yours?" He asked and grabbed my wrist in a painful grip pulling me closer.
"LET GO!!" I tried to pull my hand away but the difference in our strengths was too much.
"Didn't you hear her?" Someone said as a big hand clasped the guy's hand and pealed it off me slamming it on the lockers.
"WHO!!" The guy gritted and raised his head staring behind me as he went stiff, a hand snaked around my waist and I felt a weight on my shoulder as I looked side eye and found Isaac resting his chin on my shoulder.
"Shoo!" He smiled and the guy stormed off stumbling into the lockers on his way. I pushed him with my elbow and backed off glaring at him with my guard up.
"Discarding me as soon as my use is over?" He said rubbing his upper stomach while he still smiled at me.
"Don't touch me without my permission!" I spat through gritted teeth and he laughed closing the distance between us.
"You didn't mind me touching you yesterday on the roof when you laid on top of me," he said in a loud voice intentionally pulling everyone's attention on us and I took random books out from the locker slamming it hard and started walking away.
"Why do you keep helping me?" I asked when I felt Isaac walking beside me and he threw his arm over my shoulder pulling me close.
"I fell at first sight," he whispered and I went stiff, the hair on my body raised and a tingle went down my spine flushing my cheeks as I looked up at him and gritted my teeth.
"Are you joking?"
"Of course," he laughed and dragged me away, "I just merely got interested in you....," he rubbed the bite mark lightly with his thumb as his green eyes locked with mine, ".....You know after you bit me."
"You are sick!" I spat and he laughed again fondling with my hair.
"A sick person is better than a scumbag don't you think?" He asked and I pushed his hand away stopping in front of him.
"What do you want Isaac? No one helps a stranger without wanting something in return....so what do you want?" I asked and the side of his lips curled up as he tuck a strand of my hair behind my ears.
"Straight to the point...I love that," his smirk was now replaced with a sweet smile as he spoke the next few words leaving me stunned, "I want you little swan."
