Chapter 6 - Chp.6 My Fault

"H-Hello Class," someone said in a trembling whisper which vanished in the loud bustling and I turned ahead to find a tall slim man with a pretty face and light brown curly hair standing behind the podium hesitantly.

He was wearing a white plain shirt and sleeve sweater above it, the wild curls and big specks hid his eyes and he bit his lips nervously as he flipped through the pages of his book clumsily.

"He.....is our psychology sir?" I asked and Sophie nodded her head while resting it on the bench.

"Cute isn't he?" She said with a grin and I chuckled lightly.

"He is....though it looks like he needs psychological therapy more instead of teaching us psychology."

"True," Sophie yawned and closed her eyes taking a nap, "I'm going to rest.....you should too if you want."

The whole class was busy with their work while the teacher read through the textbook softly, no one paid attention to him and he just continued to do his work.

I opened my book and started reading the lesson he was teaching on my own since I couldn't decipher his mumbling from the last seat.

A few minutes passed by when the class suddenly went silent and a girl with platinum hair tied in a half bun stood up from her seat. Her uniform was messed up and one could literally see the lace of her black bra from her shirt which had its buttons open.

My eyes first went for her batch which was colored in yellow and slowly watched her actions as she removed her blazer and tossed it over her shoulder.

Her lips were painted in black lipstick and she had a choker around her neck, she gave off the school bully vibes from afar and I wanted to stay away from the likes of them as much as I could.

"Sir Freddie Colons," she spoke with a hint of amusement in her eyes as she removed his specs disrespectfully and brushed his hair back, "Isn't it boring to stand here and read?"

"N-No it isn't," he scooted back but she held his hand and pulled him out. She started dragging him in the classroom as they walked peacefully but it wasn't peaceful for the teacher. The guys in the room spanked his ass hard and the girls touched his stomach, sliding their fingers up his sweater and I frowned at their behavior.

I was about to stand up when Sophie grabbed my hand and pulled me back on the seat.

"Do that and you will be the one getting tortured instead of him."

"But how can they do that to a teacher?" I asked and she opened her eyes, her brown pupils staring into mine like I was the biggest idiot there.

"In this school, it's all about the survival of the fittest," she raised her head and looked at the teacher who got bullied in front of the whole class but could only bite his lips and endure it, "It doesn't matter if you are a student or a teacher, you need to be strong to survive here."

"Why didn't he just leave?" I asked feeling pity for the teacher.

"He still has a few months left for the contract to end is what I've heard, if he breaks the contract now he would have to pay a huge amount he can never pay," she shrugged making light of the situation and I clenched my teeth hard.

'But this way he would be left with trauma which he wouldn't be able to recover from for the rest of his life....'

He looked scared, he wanted to run away he wanted to push them aside but all he could do was stand in between them like an animal on display as they all played with him.

I scanned around and no one in the class sympathized with him including Sophie except a girl at the corner in the last row with wild black curls side parted and pinned from one side.

Her dark brown eyes looked at him with compassion and her knuckles turned white from clenching hard, she wanted to do something but was helpless like me.

She turned around and our eyes met as we looked at each other, her chocolate skin shone in the sunshine that made its way through the window and her lips were pressed together tightly. She knew what I was thinking as she looked at me for a brief second and shook her head in defeat.

We both lowered our heads and continued our work ignoring all the fuss happening in the class.

I headed to the next class after the long forty-five minutes and was exhausted. The next class was physics and it needed my whole attention since it was the main subject I needed to pay attention to.

I went and sat on an empty seat as someone followed me and sat beside me, I turned to find the girl from before sitting beside me and smiled lightly at her.

"Hii, I'm Sienna Kerr," she extended her hand and I shook it happily, I was glad to find at least one normal person around.

"Violet Hudson."

"I know," she smiled her eyes travelling down to my badge, "The White Rose of Etnomia High."

"Do you also have a nickname?" I snorted and asked, she laughed at my question, her laughter sounding melodic and sweet like music to ears.

"No, I'm not that well recognized here."

"Good for you," I said and she nodded in acknowledgement.

"We meet again," someone spoke and I looked back to find Isaac crashing down on the seat behind me with the girl, Faith or Queen Bee as they call her.

I didn't respond to his cunning charming smile and turned ahead. He kept playing with my hair at the back which I forcefully tugged from his hand and collected ahead.

Sienna went quiet as soon as they entered and from the color draining from her eyes I could tell she was frightened.

The door opened with a slam and a tall, medium fat sir with a round face and small eyes entered the class. From the way his face had turned red, he looked pissed right now.

I rummaged through my bag to find my book but since I had picked up random books I left it in the locker and brought chemistry instead. I sighed and slumped back in the chair.

The Sir started teaching and everyone was paying attention which told us that we should not mess with him. The class was about to end in ten minutes when he broke the chalk he was writing with and turned back suddenly.

"I hope everyone has their textbooks," he said and I flinched, he walked as his eyes scanned from the first row and I gulped hard shifting back in my chair, Sienna turned to me with worried eyes as if she knew what was going to happen which frightened me even more.

His eyes were about to fall on my desk when Isaac threw his book ahead and I turned back to him smiling at me.

The sir halted in front of Isaac and beckoned him to stand up and come out of the desk. I thought the most he would do is to throw him out of the class but the next thing that happened shocked me.

"Why did you not bring the textbook?" Sir asked in his ugly ear-tearing voice and Isaac shrugged casually replying to him.

"I forgot."

The sir then nodded his head as he placed the book in his hand down and turned back to land a loud angry slap on Isaac's face, his lips split and blood trickled down his lips while his cheeks turned red.

I gasped wide eyed and closed my mouth when the slap echoed in the class but he didn't stop there he pushed Isaac down and kicked him hard in the stomach twice.

Everyone had smiles plastered on their faces as they watched the show with delight where as Isaac was silent doing nothing as the sir beat him badly.

I wanted to stand up and defend him, say that he had his book I was the one who forgot but my legs were trembling nonstop and I couldn't move a muscle out of fear.

The bell rang and the fat sir huffed air out as she stomped out of the class leaving Isaac lying on the floor.

When the sir was gone Isaac sat up and glared at people in the class who dropped their sneers and turned ahead flinching.

I ran out from the desk and helped him up as I saw his condition and guilt filled my consciousness.

'It was my fault.'
