Baron Tamagou led them off the ship and instructed, "Please wait in the square and be prepared for any battle. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask. Feel free to help yourselves with the food."
Afterward, Baron Tamagou proceeded to welcome the other summoned forces while Kid and Killer made their way forward.
Suddenly, a figure blocked their path.
"Welcome to Cake Island,"

Kid asked, surprised.

As the leader of the Supernovas with the highest bounty, Kid has a strong sense of pride. He considered himself superior to other Supernovas and envisioned himself as the future king of the pirates.

Capone-Bege's expression was plain, but his tone was full of mockery.

Kid and Killer were taken aback for a moment, then they heard Capone-Bege speak up: "This island is called Cake Island. Judging by your reactions, I assume it's your first visit."
"Are all the things on the island really made of cakes and sweets? That's what it seems like,"
Cid slowly realized.
Then Eustass Kid copied Capone Bege, lifting the cup to his mouth, when suddenly, the cup spoke.
"Please taste my flavor carefully,"
The cup said. Startled, Kid hastily set the cup down, and it let out a sudden cry.
"WHATT?!"
"What's happening?"
Killer asked in surprise. He couldn't believe the cup could speak, almost like it had a human soul.
As they looked around, everything on the island seemed to be the same, including doors, flowers, trees, and even a house they hadn't noticed before.
"What's going on with this island? It's too weird"
Kid suddenly complained, feeling a bit embarrassed by the situation.
"This is Big Mom's devil fruit power. With her Soul-Soul Fruit, those under her protection must pay tribute—giving up a part of their soul within a set time."
"These souls hold the essence of months or even years of life. Big Mom's subordinates distribute these soul-infused items all over Cake Island. Once integrated, these items can speak or move, thanks to Big Mom's creation—a paradise of her making."
Capone Bege explained things on the island
After hearing Capone Bege's words, Kid started to calm down. This was their first encounter with Big Mom, but they didn't mind not fully understanding her power

Facing Kid's taunts, Capone Bege remained unfazed and simply said, "If you don't want to die on the battlefield, just listen to me quietly."
