For once in a long time now everything seems to be going the right well for Chandler, he is now with his crush, his dream girl. He never believed that dreams like this would come through, but he still cannot stop thinking about the nightmare coming, the war that Marshall IV spoke about. He keeps thinking about how war will start and who would start it, the hunters have always been at war with the werewolves, but something tells him that this time around it is going to be different, and thousands of lives would be lost. "Why are you smiling?" Mr. Beckham asked Chandler as he walks past him where he was wielding an axe which he was supposed to be using to cut the logs of wood on his feet, but he was just standing there smiling with sweat dripping from his body. "Huh?" Chandler snaps back to reality. "Nothing." He smiles as he continues with his work with the axe, breaking the woods into equal halves. "It's her right?" Mr. Beckham asked with a chuckle. Sabastian was about to lie to deny it but he looked at his father who raised his right eyebrows showing him that he did not need to lie. "Yes," Chandler replied in a low tone as he smiled. "She's the best girl I've ever dated." "Isn't she the only girl you've ever dated?" Mr. Beckham asked with a giggle. "Yeah...she is still going to be the best; I just know it." "You don't know that." Mr. Beckham opposed. "I can and I do. I feel like I would die if anything ever happened to her." Chandler stated, Mr. Beckham tried to hold his laughter, but he couldn't, so he chuckled. "You feel this way in just these two weeks you've been together?" "You can continue laughing, I know what I feel." "I'm sorry son, you just have to be careful though. You can't just go feeling like that for a girl yet and you know that his father is still your enemy." Mr. Beckham explained. "I know but there's nothing he can do about it because hurting me would mean hurting his daughter somehow." "I hope you're right for your own sake." Mr. Beckham replied as he turned to go but hears footsteps in the woods and Chandler heard it too. "Easy buddy." Brad Crawford said with a chuckle as he walks out from the woods looking at Chandler who has his fist tightened on the axe he was wielding. "Brad" "Alvin" Brad and Mr. Beckham both greeted each other as they hugged, he shook Chandler's fist. "Maybe we should build a cabin for you around here." Mr. Beckham said, and Brad giggled. "Yeah, that might be necessary soon. I got information from the Entities." Brad replied and his face shows that it was serious information. "Let's go inside." Mr. Beckham said as he walked to their cabin with Brad walking from behind, but Chandler stayed back, he was not sure he was old enough to stay in such a meeting. "Come on kid, this information concerns every werewolf," Brad said as Chandler drops the axe and walks inside with them. "What's the problem?" Mr. Beckham asked immediately after they walked inside, he was anxious to know what the Entities want now. "It's about Sabastian," Brad answered, he sounds like he was in a hurry too because he did not have time to jest around. "What about him?" Mr. Beckham asked, "He's dead already," Chandler added. "Yeah, but his idea is much more alive," Brad stated. "What do you mean?" Mr. Beckham was still confused. "Let's just say that the Entities realized that his plan favored the werewolves. No one has ever challenged the hunters as he did and that sent fear to the hearts of some hunters." "The Entities were the ones that wanted him dead," Mr. Beckham said, "Yeah and they regret that decision now," Brad responded. "So, what are they planning now?" Mr. Beckham was still a little bit confused. "In one word: war. They need to show the hunters that the werewolves are no longer scared of them." "That's a stupid idea. Thousands of werewolves would die." Mr. Beckham stated. "Werewolves have always been dying at the hands of these hunters so that's not a new thing. It's our turn to make them terrified of us, they see us as beasts so now we show them how ferocious we can be." Brad said. "I take it that you're with them on this decision." Mr. Beckham asked "Why won't I? I don't want my kids and grandkids to live in a world like ours then that we were scared every hour of our lives," Brad replied. "I understand but this is not the right way." Mr. Beckham responded. "There is no other way. I did not come here to argue with you but as old-time friends, I think you should hear this from me first: War is coming." Brad said as he looked at Mr. Beckham who nods, Brad turns and left. There was silence in the cabin before Chandler sighed, he has been quiet since because he could not believe that his nightmare was coming to pass. He was more surprised because he did not ever think that it would be the werewolves that would start the war that Marshall IV predicted. "What are we going to do?" Chandler asked his father who was looking tired and confused. "There's nothing to do." Mr. Beckham replied "Does that mean we will join them to fight the hunters?" Chandler asked but his father did not answer. Mr. Beckham sat down on the chair inside the cabin with his two palms covering his face while he supports his elbows on his lap, he raised his head to look at Chandler. "When the time comes, we will know what to do." Chandler folded his hands as he stood there confused and scared, he had a lot on his mind but the thought that scared him the most was what would happen between him and Alice. He just got the love of his life, but he might lose her because of some silly war because there was no way they would be together if that kind of war was to break out. He has to do something to stop the war, but his mind was blank, he could not think of anything he could do to avert it.
