What would she do to make sure things go her way?
I'm looking at my mother like she's an alien. I know her, but it feels like she is a stranger at the same time. How could she suggest something like that?
"Why are you looking at me like that?" she glares at me in annoyance. "I have always done everything for the good of this family and you know it."
"Including trying to kill the woman your son loves?" I ask. She is yet to answer me when something crosses my mind.
I was talking about Snow, but now I can't help considering what happened to Sasha.
"Did you do it?"
"Are you out of your mind? What would I gain from hurting Catalina?" She laughs maniacally. "Even if I had something to gain, don't you think I would consider Will?"
"I'm talking about Sasha."
It takes a few seconds for her to catch up and when she does, she glowers at me. "You're crazy."
"So you're not denying it." I narrow my eyes at her.
