I give Simeon a call that night and ask to meet up with him. He wants to pick me up right away before I remind him what time it is, then he suggests I sleep over at his house if it's too late for me to come back. I don't know if his impatience stems from Ivan telling him what I found out or his surprise at me contacting him when I had no interest in being affiliated with him. Maybe he thinks I finally figured out what I want from him in exchange of being part of his empire.
Which makes me wonder, why is he so desperate for me to be part of it when he has such a capable daughter?
Either way, we decide to have breakfast together the following morning.
I don't tell Will the details of how I'm going to get the waitressing job, but I do need a favor from him.
