Silva: So this is the summer home of the greatest climber of our lifetime.
A gust of wind blows past the Silver Expeditioners.
Alisah: Seems like mother nature's invitation.
Salv: Indeed.
Silva: (Shrugs). No use standing here.
Silva walks toward the door. Oro lags behind him.
Isra: Did ya forget what I said earlier?
Silva: No but I ain't scared of a little-
A gigantic green ghost appears. Oro backs up. The guardian ghost punches Silva down to the bottom of a long flight of stairs where the rest of his friends were. Oro runs back to his friends and hides behind Salv.
Alisah: Is he always like this?
Salv and Isra: (Simultaneously) Yes.
Silva: Ughh my head…
Isra: You moron, get up!
Alisah: (Laughs) It seems as though I will not have dull moments while traveling with you guys.
Salv: I guess we have no choice but to stand up to this ghoul!
Isra: We need a plan cause brute force doesn't seem to work.
Silva: Ughhh.
Alisah: What if we split up into two groups?
Salv: What is your plan, madame?
Alisah: Please Salv, call me Alisah. (Sighs). Anyways, the first group would act as the bait, and the second would sneak in through the backside. Before we get start-
Isra runs back and forth in a flash.
Isra: Already done.
Alisah: What?
Isra: I tested to see if I could outspeed the ghost using the front door.
Salv: And?
Isra: It fused itself with the door and didn't recognize me as any of the trusted caretakers of the home.
Alisah: Did you discover anything else?
Isra: There are a few windows on the backside of the house.
Salv: Wouldn't it just fuse with the windows if we attempt to open them?
Isra: Since Silva has the key to the front door, he and I could distract the ghost and continue to attempt to get in through the front.
Alisah: Great idea. Then that means Salv, Oro, and I will attempt to sneak in through the back. I can open those windows with ease, assuming the ghost is occupied with the first group.
Isra: It's crucial that we attempt to open both sides at the same time. It didn't seem like it could be at multiple places at the same time. I bet it can only lock on to one target at a time.
Alisah: Sounds like a solid strategy. What's the signal for us to attempt this?
Isra: One of us will say "Silver."
Salv: Wonderful, then let's get to it! (Raises an eyebrow) Silva, do you understand the assignment?
Silva: (Frowns) Uhh yeah. Let's go wreck shit up Salv!
Isra: (Facepalms) You're with me dude.
Silva: (Nods) Right.
The Silver Expeditioners split up to the opposite side of the summer home. Isra runs in to attack the ghost but cannot land a single hit. He then tries drawing out the ghost away from the door. The ghost constantly teleports to Isra's direction.
Silva: Now's my chance.
Silva attempts to unlock the door with Hui's keys. The ghost quickly ignores Isra and merges with the door, preventing Silva from entry once again.
Isra: Silva, that ain't gonna work. We just need to wait for the signal.
15 minutes of conflict until Isra notices something is up.
Isra: I think something must be wrong.
Silva: Yeah, I hear fighting from the other side.
Isra: I dunno what kinda obstacle Salv, Alisah, and Oro ran into.
Silva: Could be another ghost.
Meanwhile…
Salv, Alisah, and Oro are fighting off a much larger ghost. This spirit is coated in purple.
Salv: This phantom is quite the nuisance.
Oro: (Barks).
Alisah: Agreed.
Salv: We cannot land even a single scratch on it.
Alisah: There must be a way to defeat it…
Salv holds back the purple ghost.
Salv: If you can think of a way, I would love to hear it.
Alisah puts her hand on her forehead and stands still for a moment.
Alisah: Ah! I got it!
Salv: Wow, already?!
Alisah: Based on my experience as a conjurer, I believe that there are three possibilities for this instance. The first possibility is that there is an inherited item user directly controlling these ghosts either nearby or from a distance. The second is that these ghosts are indirectly controlled by the user. Lastly, these spirits could be of their own free will. Conjurers are the only known link to the spirit realm. Free willed ghostly encounters have never been recorded in this nation's history.
Salv: That is an interesting deduction madame. You really know your history! Which of the first two do you think is correct?
Alisah: I do not sense any conjurer type closeby at all, so I would say the second possibility is the most likely conclusion.
Salv: What could confirm an indirectly controlled ghost?
Alisah: The most common method of a conjurer indirectly controlling spirits is to place them inside of small, portable objects. I can identify them if I am fairly close to the object. Once the object is discovered, I can summon wind spirits into said object, which will cause conflict between the opposing ghosts within the spirit realm. The ghost will not be able to leave the realm as long as my wind spirits keep them occupied. Once we get inside, we must destroy any objects containing the ghosts.
Salv: Okay. I will put forth my best effort to occupy the ghost while you find this object.
Salv: METALLICA MAN: METALLIC TATE!
Salv shields Alisah from harm while she closes her eyes and sits down to concentrate on the objects inside of the house. The purple ghost continuously lands blows on Salv. Fortunately for Alisah, Salv's defensive capabilities are unmatched. 5 more minutes pass of Alisah meditating.
Salv: This purple bastard has not let up! What's the status?
Alisah: Working on it, just a bit longer my friend.
Salv is overwhelmed by the purple ghost's unyielding might.
Salv: I got this, take all of the time you need…
Back on the other side, Silva and Isra are alternating attacks against the green ghost.
Silva: Man, this is rough.
Isra: I know but we gotta trust that Alisah and Salv will figure out a "plan b" for us.
Silva: You're right, Isra. Alisah is a conjurer after all. She must have some other idea up her sleeve.
Alisah's view scans through each room of the summer home till she notices three devices. She plays her flute in the spirit realm until 9 wind spirits surround her. They move forward and split up into groups of three. Each group heads inside of one of the 3 devices. The two ghosts outside of the realm disappear. Salv's body reverts to its base form.
Salv: She did it! (Yells) Silver!
Silva: I knew she could do it!
Isra: Quick, hand me the keys, Silva.
Isra runs with super speed to the door and unlocks it.
Alisah's eyes open and she hyperventilates for a moment. The ghost has disappeared
Salv: Hey, are you alright, Alisah?
Alisah: (Huffs) I will be fine. Going to the spirit realm does take a toll on conjurers, so I am focusing the last of my energy to keeping the three ghosts trapped.
Salv: Can you stand?
Alisah: Yes, I can-
Alisah struggles to stand up. Salv crouches down towards her.
Salv: Here, I can carry you madame.
Salv picks her up on his back. Oro follows them to meet with Silva and Isra inside of the front entrance.
Silva: Damn, I didn't know ghosts could be summoned through objects. Great thinkin' Alisah!
Alisah: Thank you! (Points to the object) Now, the first device is located right there, labeled with the word "Standard".
Salv: We must act fast!
Silva: Okay.
Silva smashes the device. 3 wind spirits return to Alisah's flute.
Alisah: (Points to the other object) And over in the dining area. This one is labeled with the word "Deluxe".
Isra swiftly destroys it. 3 more spirits return to Alisah's flute.
Salv: Okay, where is the last one?
Alisah: Right over there-
Suddenly, Alisah collapses and her remaining 3 wind spirits break out of the device when the third ghost appears. It is even larger than the previous 2. It sports a shiny golden color. It rushes to attack the group.
Silva: Alisah!
