Alioth's POV*
The day of the training has arrived, I went outside after releasing the seal that is holding my mana from doing anything. Feeling the familiar mana entered my body was a refreshing for me even though it also brought some memories that I don't really want to remember. I tried practicing as I raised my hand before an small fireball appeared on it. My mastery might have turned rusty but the intensity of my flames still remained the same. Hmm.. this should be enough, now where is Ascella? I need to fix that brat until he turned into a fine man. I won't let him stray to any path as I always burned any man that tried to act like womans.
I went outside as I saw my son already waiting for me. Guessing by the blackness of his eyes, he probably didn't sleep yesterday because of excitement. Well, its normal. He is a child after all, they are beings that the Queen of Mizar's race couldn't handle. I walked to him as his eyes shone when he caught a glimpse of my figure. "Kept you waiting, let's start immediately" I said as he nodded his head. "Let's start with the basics, can you tell me how many elements this world currently have?" I asked him as he nodded his head. "It should be 6 right? Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light and lastly Dark." He mentioned each of them gaining an approval from me.
"Its nice that you know about them, now let's continue. Each of those elements are derived from Great Spirits. Great Spirits are the beings created by the deceased True God, they could control their own perspective elements to the point that they could level an entire continent if they used their best." I said before pausing for a bit to let him process the informations that I gave him. "4 of the Great Spirit's location are known to the public while the other 2 are still unknown. In the past, people are getting desperate from the constant attack of monsters and orcs that they reached out to the spirits. The spirits thought that their attempts were amusing so they gave them a little authority with their elements thus leading to humans being able to use magic.. are you still with me?" I asked.
I raised my eyebrow as I saw the calm look on his face. "Yes, please continue father" I nodded my head at his words, "That is how the story was spread. Let's back to magic, know that dealing with magic is a troublesome path as many would hinder your growth. First step to doing magic would be seeing the mana in the air, to do that you need to pray for the spirits to let you see them. Try doing it" I gestured to him as he tilted his head. Is my lesson too confusing for him? I was about to instruct him when an understanding look appeared on his face as he closed his eyes. After a few seconds he opened it as he looked at the air for a few seconds.
"Hm? What happened? Did you do something?" I asked while looking at him. I was contused by the understanding look on his face earlier so I asked. "I already asked. They cooperated with me pretty well Father." Huh? Did he say that he already achieved it? That's weird. Someone usually need to pray for weeks or even months just to gain a response from those stubborn spirits. "Can you describe what you are seeing right now? Even a vague one will do" I said trying to know more about this situation. If people from the capital heard of this thing then there might be a huge parade just to welcome my son there. That is how amazing his deed. "There are many brilliant colors swimming in the air. I don't know why but they feel nice to me" he said making my head ache.
This is not normal anymore. I practiced for many years just to gain such response from the spirits but here they are showering him with benefits. I massaged my head before shaking it. I shouldn't doubt my son's abilities that much when his mother is part of that race after all. I continued my lesson to him.

3rd POV*
Ascella just listened to his father's words carefully while hiding the fact that he didn't even prayed to the spirits to gain access to this eyes. Just like what he did on the first day, he merely thought of being able to see it and it appeared. "To use magic, you also need to ask the spirits to let you borrow some of the mana that is floating in the atmosphere. If you somehow gained the permission then you still need mold those mana into what you wanted it to be, adding a chant will help as it would lessen the pressure that the mana will put on your body" Alioth patiently explained as Ascella listened. "With your eyes you can probably observe what I will do. So watch carefully and absorb what you will see.." Alioth said as he began the process.
Ascella watched as Alioth began his chanting, "Spirit of Fire, grant me the authority to wield your flames, your will shall be my will as I will burn those beings who dared to oppose you!" During his chant Ascella gazed in awe as he saw the most beautiful thing that he witnessed in his whole life. The colorful mana in the air are dancing while shining brightly giving an impression that they are giving Ascella a show that he will never forget. The mana slowly swirled and rotate at the palm of Alioth until it formed a small fireball that emits intense heat as if being in the middle of a hot summer. Ascella couldn't take his gaze away from the fire with his Father just smirking at him. "How is it? Isn't it amazing? I had the same reaction as you when I first saw it. I can still remember how the mana gathered to form a waterball in my master's case" Alioth said.
Alioth's words snapped Ascella on his trance as he nodded his head. "You had a master, Father?" He asked with Alioth nodding his head. "Any person can never become a mage unless he is taught by another mage for years. I also learned under my master for many years but unfortunately he already passed away.." Alioth said with melancholy on his face before shaking it away. "So? Would you care to try? Even if you won't have any progress today, its not like there is no tomorrow" Alioth suggested as Ascella immediately nodded his head. Being able to use magic is one of his dreams in the past, he always wished to have something like that to atleast help other peoples to tend his mistakes.
Ascella thought of what his father did earlier as the image began forming his head. He tried using his consciousness to gather the mana only to be shocked by how heavy it was. The viscosity of the mana is too high that he couldn't even move some of it. Alioth smiled at scene, he wanted Ascella to know how hard it is to do magic so that the boy would just give up and live his life peacefully in this village. But what happened next was out of his expectations, the formerly hard to move suddenly began rapidly dancing in the air as if they were having a festival. The mana who usually don't have any consciouness, on their own accord moved towards Ascella's hand and formed the fireball that was in his mind without even him doing a chant. What Ascella did was 'Hey, gather in my hands' he just thought of that.
This is one of the innate ability of Ascella that he is the only one that possess it. It is the ability to 'Order' mana and make it work according to his will. Of course he didn't mention any of that to his father as he wanted to keep everything about him into secret, he can feel his parent's gaze at him that is giving the meaning that their son is in the middle of battlefield so surprising them later on with his ability would be a scene that he wanted to watch. Alioth gawked at his son's palm before face palming. "Hey, hey, this is too much.. even me the crowned most genius magician in the century wasn't able to do something like this on my first day of practicing.." Alioth muttered though Ascella heard it as he was close to him.
"Did I do something wrong, Father?" Ascella asked while staring at Alioth. "No.. opposite in fact. This is too unbelievable that I am having a hard time coping with it so please give your old man a few minutes to compose his thoughts" Alioth said as he sat on the side of the tree. With how fast Ascella is progressing, it wouldn't be a surprise that he would leave a month from now on or maybe even week. Alioth was thinking hard how to explain this Mizar as he knew that the woman wouldn't take it lightly. Immediately parting with her son just after it gained a proper personality? That would hurt her too much. 'Now then.. should I delay the lessons..? No, that would be bad as I don't know when those being would start to move but one thing is for sure. 'Trouble' is coming' Alioth ended his thoughts with that.
