You know, the whole 'mana turns to reality' isn't magic, it's alchemy of somekind. Magic works with elemental mana only not different elements made with mana with mana signatures controlling them.
A flame I left burning for a while ended up making some red tinted mana that interested me, when I took control of it my sub-concious wanted to do something, and I relented.
That was real magic, the red mana did something and caused a weird magical fire. It seems the real stuff made with 'dungeon magic' what I'm calling it can cause changes to mana.
Also, I've been doing more void stuff. All my null-void containers failed within less than a second, but I made a few more 'voids'. True void; a void of everything except itself, making it still exist unlike the null-void which is like a glitch in reality. Space void; a void of space, great for garbage disposal. Time void; nothing can change within it since time doesn't exist inside it, great for preservation.
I've been able to contain them since they don't consume the stuff around them, just some physical element that has the element of which it is void of. I have to change containers from time to time but it doesn't take that long to replace really.
I've actually set up all my voids in the 'treasury', which just has voids and their containers right now. I am going to throw null-void in it too, one day...
I'm bored again, also I made a few rooms, and hid my core into a small cavity with a circular diameter of 1mm to the opening. You don't easily show your core, dumbasses... That's what seperates me from the masses!
The first & second fake cores didn't have any functionality, but the third fake one had complete functionality and could be used to interact with the real me like my real body but I could cut the connection. I don't even know how I made the connection! I'm even planning on making a book 'Top 10 instincts never used by casuals', I think it'll reach the best sellers list!
I was calmly enjoying my magic but then started to expand into a large opening underground for experiments on my beloved voids, I even used light mana stuff to make a sky box! I have no idea how I did it, but I know that I made synthetic sunlight.
Then I went with the idea 'If I can made monsters like a dungeon, why not make a basic plant?' I knew what I wanted and how plants worked, I made a few blasts of air with a bit more co2 and let the chlorophyll do its thing.
After watching for a week, I got bored and thought of ways to speed it up. Now, I have a time void, so why not make a concentrated 'time zone'?
I want to make something more than just a 'speed up' zone, a dissease! Or the air will have some kind of speed up effect on only plants, making a weird place where nature is faster than it should. Seeing the life of a tree in mere minutes or seconds. That'd be cool to see, I'll even be nice and make a little opening to the surface, not that it takes that long to make one, go space void, I choose you!
Now I did what I did close to my core but a kilometer below the surface, I put down a single grass. The whole time stuff wasn't too hard, feel the change caused by time and just think of a room without it, so a time void. Then make elemental time inside it that caused shifts changes like time did, then I made some mana signature air and; You got elemental time! You got air! Put it together! air time! Ahh good jokes, but really that all you need to do.
Dungeon magic sees that air as magic, and the elemental time too. But how do I get it to only work on the environment? Since I haven't been able to make elemental mixes yet, that grass took a bunch of mixes in a few hundred chemicals in bottles with only the help of instinct to guide me.
Can I make a concept elemental? Wait, isn't time a concept?
The life in a plant, what is different between an animal and a plant? Do I want the air to effect monsters too? Or are all animals free from it? Sentient free or animal free? Let's go with animal free.
Alright plants are things that- Ummm. a living organism of the kind exemplified by trees, shrubs, herbs, grasses, ferns, and mosses, typically growing in a permanent site, absorbing water and inorganic substances through its roots, and synthesizing nutrients in its leaves by photosynthesis using the green pigment chlorophyll.
That's what I remember the internet saying, but what about meat eating plants? Or plant monsters?
You know what? Plants or stationary beings that live off of various substances without conciousness or instinct to guide them.
Now that concept that I made, which was really weird stuff that didn't really exist? Was put into a mix with the 'air time' with intent since that may do something to 'only effect this'.
I already made a layer of 'time air void' on the two openings I planned for the 'timed forest', I threw the time air inside. Although barely noticeable at the beginning, the time increase fell down to nothing after being deluted with normal air.
I understood, and made more and more time air and started to get rid of normal air with a 'space void', getting rid of everything. Also I made the 'time air void' a barrier for air outside a creature since my insinctis told me it was possible. It seems dungeons have made so many air variations that an air barrier was just ingrained with their instincts, or maybe they did virus stuff?
Soo, uhhh. I had an idea for a monster that constantly breaths out 'time plant air' but wasn't effected by it, but I need something for that since it was 'too complicated' for my instincts to do! You made a plant but you can't do an animal?! It must be some kind of soul spirit thing.
I looked at how old I was, 1 year and 8 months? Ahh, magic is so nice. Now let's look at that tutorial again.
[Tutorial 2/10
Make a ball of mana and strike one of your walls! You can't do anything without know how to do magic, now can you? Reward; 'monster core' data pack.]
That's it? Really? I can do that in seconds! look First second; mana spirals like a typhoon into a point that grows rapidly. Second second; ball formed, now stabilize your control of it. Third second; shoot!
Ding ding ding! Strike, tutorial done! Now let's look at that monster core!
God damn it!!!!! Why is it so hard to put in info to the mind! Does it need to hurt so much?!?!?!
I hate data packs so much! But I love them too! The info is so juicy!
Monster cores! This... This! It's a kind of crystal(?) Made of mana, colored(Not talked about but should work) or not, it apparently strengthens anything living it's inside of too physically and meta-physically. It can store a soul too, or something like that.
So I can make colored into a crystaline thing that has mana passively radiate out of it? I need to do something now, Having paused making time air I looked at my voids.
They all had weird colored mana inside them, perfect for my plans. Voids can make weird mana too! I made a null-void and relaxedly let it grow far far below me to a controlled size.
I went back to making time air while looking at the new mana type he saw popping up from time to time, I understood my purpose. I quickly made a crystal, you know how crystals are formed right? Carbon or something else gets into something called a 'crystaline pattern' and it becomes diamond or something.
This took a while, my age said it took a month of constant trying to make it. cool, that moss was turned to the great void of the null-void.
Talking about that, I completely forgot that I left that pocket of null-void down in the earth. How's it doing?
Ohhhh! that's something inside it! A single dot of mana! It's like something from another layer of reality that crossed over through the glitch!
I chose to grow the before chosen size it was allowed to grow by 10x all the extra growth not allowed upwards.
The mana crystal core thing I made replaced the first fake core to give a mysterious feel, you feel me?
After playing with mana to make a time air core for a day then looking at his good friend null-void with it's 'null-mana', a thing that doesn't exist and does at the same time while also not supossed to exist, but it also does? It's mana, but it also isn't since it doesn't exist?
The null-void was much less confounding, it is nothiness that stabilzes itself, but it also doesn't since it doesn't exist. it also consumes other things and makes more of itself, but also doesn't since it isn't actually a thing.
Let's just say the 'null' stuff I made is weird and too 'profound' for mortals to comprehend. Back to the child of null-void, null-mana! that first little mana piece was like a catalyst to itself, which isn't a thing in itself, since it's nothing... Back to not thinking about it!
It wasn't enough for a core to be made, but it would get there in time. I looked at the other colored mana, the strength of the color 'taint' had increased slightly with the older mana. It seems that elemental/conceptual taint gets stronger the longer it happens.
I wonder if spells are stronger with them? It's not like I can actually use spells consciously, let's make that time air core now!
*A long, long time later*
Wow that went faster than last time! like half a month! Or something! Now my sweet null-mana! Let's make a core out of you!
In the middle of it's creation I was thrown out of my groove and let the mana fall apart, this is the reason you need enough mana. It'll fall apart otherwise, I just had ten dots connected! Null-mana is really, really hard to connect to the same way as other manas. Since it does and doesn't exist at the same time.
"Oh great dungeon! I plead your awakening!" It sounded raspy and filled with devotion, it also had a 'goblin' touch.
I looked at the surface parts that I weirdly needed to 'expand into' which I did passively while making time air, there was a large group of green children things that didn't seem healthy with a few bigger healthy children, bigger than if the normal ones became healthy. There was a big child with a cloak and a wand with a small crystal, I think. It was a normal crystal with a bit of mana inside of it.
The cloaked child, which is definently a hobgoblin shaman, was probably talking to me. Let's dirrect a few thoughts to this mana link that's coming out of his mind into my influence below "I have long since awakened, I'll have to keep this short to stop 'them' from realizing I'm still alive."
The shaman stopped dancing like a tribalally and paused, the mana link broke down a bit and I was irritated, so I maintained it myself with my own mind "What do you mea-" The shamans words resounded into my mind, I was going to figure out how to do that myself.
"You don't need to know for now," I said, cutting him off "If you want to know when the dungeon is all set up and open for business, it'll be in a while. I'll see when I can make some monsters for your kind to fight." I said hastily while still calm.
"No, great dungeon! That is not what we plead your help for!" The shaman weirdly did not wish for battle "The humans are after us! I followed the old records from our ancestors to find a dungeon for help!"
I raised my mental eyebrow at how the more we talked the more the crystal was drained of mana, it seems goblins don't have big mana pools "Really? Those filthy monkeys have become a credible threat? It doesn't matter, your trashy wand, leave it in the campfire after it goes out. I'll see what I can do, it'll be something. I don't have my old methods available right now." I cut out the connection on my own and saw what I could do through the tutorial.
[Tutorial 3/10
Infuse your mana into something and make a magical material, dungeons are the origin of the best materials that are 'mortal', this is how they do it. Reward; basic system inspect.]
I thought to myself about a few things, first, I had to make a cool wood staff with it. Not that small 'potter harry' wand with a gem on it, real 'wizard' wands. second, I just had an idea, the space void is less space with it's mana I think, and space mana let's you increase the space in an area. If I used void mana I could shrink anything I feel like.
Back to the wand, let's first make a basic staff. I made a few hundred metal bars then made a giant hook walking stick, in that hook came out from the top middle and bottom middle a piece of metal that formed a plus sign in a circular fashion. If the staff was shrunk to the size of the shaman the fake 'core' monster core would fit in it.
Now to why I want to shrink it! I made thousands of inscriptions making dragons and other great beasts into murals, it would be to small to make if it was of proper size! If I shrunk it, it would be perfectly balanced. Also for your info, when it was finished, everything was twisted except the core holders.
I made myself out to be some ancient dungeon with mysterious roots, doing something impossible for humans and goblino's shouldn't be weird and would solidify my power in their eyes. I also threw all my 'personal' mana into it since I never used it.
it was pretty good I say, when I flowed some ambient mana into it, it seemed to go through pretty well, a bit of an increase in mana flow compared to air. There was also an opening for the weird crystal in the eye of the biggest mural monster.
Since I was waiting for that trashy staff, I looked at my space-void jar. It had a lot of mana actually, it was my biggest resoviore of 'void'. There was long since enough for a core, I started to feel the instincts tell me how to use it.
I had a block of iron as the subject, and my instincts as a dungeon core as the researcher. This was a bit more difficult, like a lot more difficult. There was tons of space-void tainted mana, but only the elemental taint of around 0.1% of it was actually used to shrink it.
It shrunk very slightly, even the mana shrunk! It was an amazing discovery for all of evil kind! But the waste was painful, that was half a year of a 23x36x328 space void hole I made after I was able to contain it! The wasted void potential! I was crying metaphorical tears, man!
But I saw how my instincts did the spell, it was messy as all hell with a bunch of random lines with no reason, I could definently make it better.
I also quickly made an inferior wand the same as the big version but without the murals and a slot for the gem not being in that mural with being the intended final size and all. I decided to name it 'First null-shaman's dungeon staff' I had started to plan out an entire story and naming convention.
Now let's use this basic inspect.
[First null-shaman's baby staff
A staff made casually for a goblin shaman due to pure boredom, if completed would have good effects. A creation made due to time constraints and the inability to use void mana in a short time to shrink a wand with decorations. Completely valid as a staff though. -Created by the dungeon 'Dungeon name not yet chosen.']
