Chapter 7 - Bloody simulator guy II

It's been a month since Hang Fen obtained the monster blood, he had a good look through his book. And thought up a better name too, , way better in Hang Fen's opinion. Which was the only opinion that mattered to him.

There was a bunch of tricks to do with blood, one was purifying your blood stream by replacing the impurities with more blood that was removed of impurities. Another was to concentrate the blood in your blood stream and then filling the empty space with more blood to not have a blood deficiency.

It even worked with heart blood and blood essence, this was... Not heaven defying, it wasn't that good unless you were rich. Most of your blood is impurities, cleansing it without putting in more would have you die from 'blood loss'. And even if you cleansed it correctly, you had to get rid of the impurities properly. The had a method for it by spitting it out, but that was disgusting since 'impurities=disgust incarnate', just the smell of more than a gram can usually make a mortal barf.

Usually it's contained with a layer of skin when it's removed, but tasting it. Hang Fen had a bad time, but he pulled through with the ancient 'gag reflex'! Which stopped him from swallowing it accidentally.

After that day he honored his ancestors with blood for the gag reflex they left behind for him, he did this everytime before he purified his blood. A few milligrams of trash blood at a time, which increased over time.

Another month passed and found a group of cultivators, one was old and three were young.

Hang Fen had passed by without saying shit, you don't mess with cultivators, it's more like they passed him by. But he wasn't stopping them as a mortal.

The next day he saw an almost dead cultivator group, which he didn't rocognize since he didn't care enough about them. The monster they were fighting was weak, really weak. Hang Fen could kill it if he didn't care about his own life, a 3rd realm of qi gathering. A good blood stream is good for vitality, stamina, strength, agility, and lifespan!

But there was a great oppertunity right here, the heart blood of this monster would help a ton. All Hang Fen had to do was wait for the right time, no words were said by him.

He climbed the highest tree closeby the fight, and waited for the final strike. When that happens both sides would be at their lowest point, and both would have tunnel vision, letting Hang Fen steal the kill.

'Just a little more,' He thought to himself 'Come on!... Now!' He jumped off and stabbed at the throat, the monster's instincts, even when heavily injured, were in good shape. Letting it dodge the lethal attack, making Hang Fen just miss it's vital in the nape "God damned lizard."

The next thing he knew, he had landed 10 meters away from a tail swipe, Hang Fen had seemed to flip himself after the first landing to get rid of momentum "That's the problem with lizards, pain isn't a hinderance to them with their 'Effective' craniums."

Hang Fen Clenched his teeth and looked at his chest, he felt it up with experience 'No broken bones, lucky. Just a flesh wound. Heh, my first scar in another world. Entertaining to say the least, let's clot up that wound with .'

Hang Fen's wound stopped bleeding at an extrodenary pace, after using the a lot, Hang Fen started to get better control over the blood in his body. Including the clotting of a wound.

Though he did make sure most of the blood that had left him was pure impurity, 'most' of it "My blood was lost by thee, filthy lizard. Now make sure to entertain me, Salamander." A savage smile unbefiting for his small but buff form appeared on his face.

He rushed forward, the salamander rushed forwards too. It seemed to drool from the easy prey, it opened it's maw to swallow Hang Fen whole! Though Hang Fen seemed even more excited by this.

Hang Fen picked up a bottle and threw it into the mouth of the lizard turned giant, he slided beneath it at the last minute and used a dagger to cut it's belly "If it bleeds, I can kill it!"

Before the lizard could stop him, Hang Fen jumped ontop of it's back and stabbed again at the heart "It's good I know the heart's location! Aliens never learn with changing the vitals! Hahaha!" He jumped off it's back and watched the magic.

As the salamander slowly slowed down, and then fell down to the floor "Heh, here comes my harvest!" Hang Fen got to looting the corpse the moment it stopped moving. After throwing a log at it to see if the reflexes were still there, they weren't to say the least.

He murmered to himself "Heh, on the line between life and death is were I feel most alive. Such a common line, but so cool. It's true too! I'll find a way to say it in battle, the fame will be monsterous. Never got to in the grand war."

About a dozen milligrams of impurities were used in this fight, as a poison. Hang Fen needed to quickly drain all the blood before it was injected with impurity, he first went after the heart blood. Which was, surprisingly, in the heart.

There was no time for drinking it was a grand harvest, claws, bones, and a bunch of other treasures for about ten teals of silver. Or 10W (W=10000) copper coins, that was pretty good. If Hang Fen followed the instructions in the correctly he could turn the claws and bones into good weapon, connecting them together with blood as the glue, also nourishing them with blood.

Hang Fen heard a clear cough from behind him, he turned around and saw that the old man, while still bloody, had stood up "Hello fellow daoist, this old man is from the Chen family. Could I be presumptuous and ask for a piece of this salamander's corpse."

Hang Fen instantly turned confident "hmm? What part do you need?" The old man hesitated before saying "Fellow doaist, please give this old man some face and give him the salamander's spinal fluid."

Hang Fen made a pained expression "I'm sorry fellow doaist, but I was hired by the Ye family to obtain that, and you know the repercussions of going against them."

The old man turned resolute, and solemn "How much did they pay you? And worry not about the repercussions, you know of the Chen family's status."

Hang Fen showed a nervous expression, then suddenly said "This doaist was hired for 20 taels of silver," He looked at the old man and saw a relaxed expression "Oh! Sorry fellow doaist, my words were incorrect. This doaist was payed 40 taels of silver." This was all done convincingly.

The old man was still calm, and Hang Fen smiled at his words "This old man has 160 taels on him right now, I hope you can relinquish the spinal fluid to me."

Hang Fen smiled "Fellow daoist, I have to apologize, but I have grown in a tough environment and had birthed paranoia in my dao heart. I can not, in good concious, give it too you until the taels are in my hands."

The old man was still relaxed and threw a pouch into Hang Fen's hands, Hang Fen quickly counted the money. There was more in it than what was told, but Hang Fen said nothing about it and just nodded and left.

When he was out of sight, he rummaged though the bag and made sure there weren't any tracking devices. After which he put all the taels into his personal pouch and threw the other into a quickly made ember.

Hang Fen remembered where the old man came from and planned on going into the big city, he wasn't worried about the spinal fluid being more valuable, him finding a buyer for something so pricy would be difficult and dangerous.

Hang Fen didn't have time for that, he would quickly buy some blood and another good weapon, maybe a few more bottles to fill with blood and blood essence. Maybe some rations would be good too, Hang Fen didn't need fancy cultivator crap since all he needed was blood.

"When will I gain a disciple?" Hang Fen said to himself suddenly "I have a bunch of corney catch phrases that I need to impart to the next generation, but the greatest question of all, which one will come first?"

Hang Fen meditated on this vital matter and came to a conclusion "How close are you to a dream come true? To a place no one has ever been to. Then let's go with 'It's good if everyone walks freely, to the deep sea, to the depths, even if left behind.', I'm a genius! 'Step by step, the far of becomes the future.'!"

Hang Fen coughed lightly and said "First, let's get a normal cultivation technique for my minion. Can't be giving out to another, for now."

Another month passed and the seasons had changed, you couldn't notice it fully, but you could feel summer rolling like a recking ball. Bringing a slaughter apon 1st realm qi gathering monsters, Fang Hen had quite a few difficulties in the beginning. Getting a few scars in the process, but he learned how to kill them through trail and error.

Hang Fen got lucky and was able to get a job training a kid that was wanted battle experience, he was the genius of the Chen family. In truth Hang Fen knew why he got the job, he's been running out side the city killing monsters for a long time and was at odds with the Ye family which also existed.

One day this kid at a high level of qi refinement, the 7th, came to me and asked to be taught to overcome the savage blade sect's entrance test. The sect as in the name, was savage, and cared more about real power than realms. The survivability of a cockroach was praised and encouraged there, so the test was to stay in a forest for a long time to test survivability, then fight in a tournament to test the highest point of power.

"Alright kid, you know how to kill monsters, right?" Hang Fen said as if old, while still being ten. After he recieved a nod, he continued "Since you can't take anything inside of the forest you need to make your own weapon, the easiest to acquire is a monster's bone. I will now show you which bones are best for a quick weapon"

Hang Fen rushed over to a weak monster and dodged it's first attack with a redirect, then took out a knife made of bone to stab it in the throat. Then he did it again, and again, and even more "Now, kid. This is how you harvest the blood, you need to remember this, most importantly, the heart blood. If you soak something in heart blood and it's below the heart blood's 'plateau of power' it will get strengthened slightly."

Hang Fen savagely opened up the beast he killed and ripped out a bone, at the end it was pretty sharp "This is a quick dagger that you can pick up after your first kill, after which you can take this bone." He ripped out another bone which was thicker and stronger "With the first bone you can then turn this type of bone into a sword over time, I'll show you since my last bone sword broke recently when fighting a 3rd stage qi gatherer."

Over a few hours that big bone formed into a sharp blade with a twisted handle, no guard since this was the land of 'huxia' "Now I will nourish it with the heart blood of my enemies over a few days, then I will kill a 2nd realm qi beast and turn it's bone into another sword. Then I will nourish it with 2nd realm heart blood, then I will kill a 3rd realm, and you get the gist."

Hang Fen drunk a bottle of blood and spit a slight amount of dark substance into a bottle, he did this with all the blood he harvested. After which he went back to the old routine and taught the kid the method of living in the wild "Scars are marks of the past, and the validation of the future."
