They reached Zaffino mansion. Aurora dozed off during the drive. Charlie took her in his arms wrapping her legs around him. The guards their gawked at the scene.
" Park the car and give the keys back inside the mansion." He ordered whispering not to disturb the sleeping beauty in his arms and went inside. Mr. and Mrs. Zaffino were waiting eagerly for them. They ran towards them hurriedly.
" Slow slow!" Charlie told his parents.
" What happened to her? Is she sick?" Mr. Zaffino asked.
" No she is just sleeping." Charlie said securing her properly with his hands.
" Are you guys injured?" Mrs. Zaffino asked.
" She is. She saved me from the blast effect and got hurt." Charlie said sighing.
Auroras woke up hearing voices. She looked at Charlie with sleepy eyes.
" Want to stay on your lap." She mumbled in sleepy voice.
Mr. and Mrs. Zaffino chuckled hearing that. That's when she came into sense and looked behind only to find Charlies parents standing and controlling their laugh. She looked at Charlie with red face while glaring.
Charlie started laughing too.
" Put me down you idiot! Why didn't you tell me we have reached?" She said hitting him on his chest. She wiggled out of his hold and stood beside Charlie with a red face.
" No problem Princess. They already know I'm your man remember? Likewise there is no problem if they know my lap is your throne ." Charlie said smirking.
Mr. and Mrs. Zaffino smirked too. Aurora looked at them being embarrassed by their son.
" Will you shut up?" She said with gritted teeths. But Charlie kept laughing.
" Mumma! Tell him to stop!" Aurora said pouting while hugging Mrs. Zaffino.
" You brat! Don't tease my beautiful daughter!" Mrs. Zaffino said scolding Charlie.
" Who else will tease her except her man honey?" Mr. Zaffino said this time teasing.
" Uncle! You too?" Aurora said grumbling.
" Enough teasing. I have prepared soup for all of us. Let's eat. You guys can fresh up later. You haven't eaten anything whole day I'm sure." Mrs. Zaffino said.
" I'm not hungry." Aurora mumbled.
" Me neither." Charlie said shrugging.
" Well how will you get hungry if you two eat each other right?" Mrs. Zaffino said scoffing.
Aurora and Charlie both choked hearing that. Both of them became embarrassed this time.
" What are you saying mom?" Charlie said awkwardly chuckling.
" We were in your age too and we can also see the marks on both of you." Mr. Zaffino said rolling his eyes.
Aurora hurriedly went behind Charlie being shy this time.
" Can't help. She is impossible to resist you know?" Charlie said smiling shamelessly. Aurora hit him from back and his parents became surprised seeing their shameless son.
" Enough of your shamelessness. Now come and eat." Mrs. Zaffino said in a scolding voice and went to the dining table. Her husband followed her chuckling.
" You are too shameless." Aurora said glaring at him.
" Why will I be ashamed of marking my girl?" Charlie asked being confused.
Aurora sighed but again felt those butterflies in her stomach. She really loves to hear 'my girl' from Charlie.
They also went towards the dining table.
" Honey, have you asked the maids to clean the guest room for Aurora?" Mr. Zaffino asked.
" No. Ask your son if he is letting her sleep in guest room first." Mrs. Zaffino said.
Aurora closed her eyes. She didn't know how much more teasing she was yet to get from them.
" I'll sleep in the guest room mumma." Aurora said.
" Of course not. You will stay with me in my room. I can't sleep without you." Charlie said protesting.
" Why? Did she sleep in your room when you were in Mariano mansion?" Mr. Zaffino asked.
"Well not she. I used to sleep with her in her bedroom most of the time. It's a habit now." Charlie said eating. Aurora sighed.
" I see.." Mr. Zaffino said smirking.
"Can you not be this shameless in front of your parents? Please?" Aurora said glaring at Charlie.
" What's wrong with telling the truth? We didn't do anything except sleeping except the night your were drugged.." Aurora didn't let Charlie complete his sentence as she pressed her palm on his mouth.
" Shut up!" She said glaring.
Mr. and Mrs. Zaffino controlled controlled their laugh understanding what he was about to say.
" We know that part. Don't worry." Mr. Zaffino said shrugging.
Aurora was done with everything now. She will die today if these teasing continues.
" I'll kill you if you say one more thing. Eat silently." Aurora warned glaring at him. Charlie became mute and kept eating.
Mr. and Mrs. Zaffino smiled seeing the couple in front of them and looked at each other. They were so happy for them. Now everything is finally going to be okay. They continued eating too.
Charlie took Aurora in his room after dinner. "You should freshen up Princess."
" What will I wear?" She asked.
" You can take anything you want from my closet."
" You should pick one for me." Aurora said.
Charlie nodded and went to his walking closet. He got a hoodie and a sweat pant for her and gave them to her.
" I'll use another washroom. Call me if you need anything." Charlie said.
Aurora nodded and went inside the washroom. Charlie also went to freshen up. When he came back, Aurora was still in the washroom. He understood she was taking a shower. He became worried thinking about the wounds. He again went out to get a first aid box.
When he came inside, Aurora got out of the washroom. Charlie looked at her and stilled in his position while staring at her.
Aurora didn't notice him. She was drying her hair with towel. But the look of her was enough to make Charlie go crazy. She was only wearing his hoodie. That hoodie was big on her hiding her thighs.
Charlie gulped seeing her smooth wet legs. His wild imaginations started coming back. Aurora looked at him and found him staring at her head to toe.
" Your pant is so long. That's why I have just worn the hoodie." Aurora said. But Charlie didn't reply. He was in daze.
" Why are you standing like a statue?" Aurora asked frowning.
" Nothing." Charlie said gulping. Aurora didn't say anything more. She put the towel in the basket and sat on the bed.
" Let me put some ointment on the wounds Princess." Charlie said going near her.
Aurora turned around and asked,
" Should I take off the hoodie?"
Charlie gulped thinking he won't be able to control himself if she sat there half naked." N-o. It's n-ot ne-ede-d." He stuttered.
" Where is your shamelessness now?" Aurora asked looking at him.
Charlie sat behind her leaning near,
" You are not in a condition to handle my shamelessness now Princess. That's why I'm controlling myself." He said with a deep voice. He picked her hoodie a little showing the wounds.
Charlie slowly cleaned those wounds and put ointments. He again bandaged her previous cuts on hand and forehead.
" Done." Charlie said standing up. He put the first aid box in it's place and came back to Aurora. He sat in front of her pulling her closer to him. He leaned on the headboard and Aurora put her head on his chest lying on top of him.
" You have done a great job today Princess. Congratulations." He said combing her hair.
" I'm glad that I was able to save you all. The risk I took was deadly but it was worth it." Aurora mumbled.
" You are a detailed planner I must say. You didn't only play but also made him play along in your plan. I'm so proud of you." Charlie said smiling.
" The war has ended finally. You all can live a free life again. Everything will become like before." Aurora said sighing.
"Not everything. Many things have changed you know."
Aurora didn't say anything.
