" As she asked for, I started her training. It was hard for her. She kept failing her daily tasks. She got hurt a lot. I completely hide about her existance. So outsiders really think that Aurora was dead and I have become weak in absence of my daughter. They started to go against me. Even some of my aligns went against me too. I was devastated thinking my own people have showed their backs to me. But my only concern was my daughter back then. I kept helping her. She was good in internal affairs, maintaining the group, giving suggestions about shipment collections, plans on mission and wars. She is brilliant as you already know. So it didn't take much time to learn her about weapons, strategies, group aligns, rules regulations, group.members, our enemies etc etc. She totally outsmarted that area. But her physical strength was still a questioning place. I asked some of my trusted aligns to help but they refused to help as they thought Aurora was weak to be the heir. They told me that they would cancel the contract if Aurora became the heir. I felt really helpless at that time. But they did me a favor. They didn't leaked the news that Aurora was alive. Aurora was at her edge too. She lost all hopes and kept crying all the day thinking she caused me great trouble. At last I took the most heinous decision of my life." Mr.Mariano finished lowering his head.
Charlie kept looking at him.
" Do you need another glass of water Sir?"
" No I'm fine. Just all those emotions are coming back and stabbing my heart. Thinking all those things, I'm feeling terrible as a dad again." He said and a tear dropped from his eye.
" You don't have to continue then. Keep it for later."
Mr.Mariano wiped his tears.
" No. I want to tel you everything today. I want to get rid of this burden of guiltiness today. Please let me do it."
Charlie put his hand on Mr.Marianos shoulder.
" I'm here Sir. Start again whenever you feel like it."
They went silent for sometime.
Then Mr. Mariano again started.
" Our group has special training masters. They are really capable. In past every child must have to take training from them or else they would be thrown out of the family. Even if they failed to get acknowledged by their masters they would have to take the training again and again until they get recognised. It was really tough and I didn't want my daughter to go through that hell. But as you know my dad is still alive. I asked for his opinion at that time. He strictly told me that if I want her to be the strongest version of herself, I have to let her go to the training camp. I didn't agree with him. It was too dangerous for a girl. No girl in our group has become a heir ever. So no girl went for that training. It was specialised only for boys. I was sure angel would die in there. More over, there were some boys taking training so that one of them can be the future heir of UNDOCILE."
" Sorry to interrupt Sir. But Mrs. Mariano took training right? What about her?"
" She took training from her grand father. He was a master himself before becoming a mafia."
Charlie got goosebumps hearing that.
" And what about the boys? You have told us in one lesson that only blood related people can take the throne of UNDOCILE."
" Yeah. They were blood related but not that close. We don't have other options as Aurora and her elder sister Erena both didn't want to be the heir. So we decided to prepare another heir in case anything happens to me."
Charlie nodded indicating that he has understood the matter.
" You can continue Sir."
" I was afraid of everything. Afraid of our master. He is a really strict sophisticated man. He doesn't like girls being in this profession. I knew he would give Aurora a hard time. Then the boys were really ruthless. I had seen them few times. They could kill anyone just to accomplish their mission and be the heir. The place was really dangerous and I didn't want my daughter to struggle there. She had already had enough in that little age. Do you know she is the youngest trainee in this mafia world? But my dad kept in insisting about that training camp. I wouldn't let her go if that time a war didn't show up. I would protect her at any cost. But I guess some bad things happen just to make us strong right? I guess that's her case too. I had to let her go as one of my aligns and enemy group attacked me together. I still remember her trembling condition and I still feel guilty about it. How scared she was! I hope she has forgiven me even after leaving her in a jungle full of hungry and wild animals in the mask of humans."
Mr. Mariano sighed saying that.
FLASHBACK
Aurora held her dads hand tightly seeing the scene in front of her. She trembled feeling what she was going to face in that camp in front of her. It looked like a jail rather than a training camp.
" Are you scared angel? Should we go back? You can still change your decision. You don't have to pressurize yourself dear." Mr.Mariano said looking at her with concern.
Aurora looked up to him and tried to smile.
" I'll do what I have decided dad. Just keep faith in me. I'll try my best."
Mr. Mariano smiled. He knew how determined his daughter was. But he was concerned for her because he knew how terrifying that training was going to be. He knew how strict the master was.
" I trust you angel. I know you will come out as the best version of yourself. Don't ever give up okay?"
Aurora nodded smiling. But deep down she was scared too. She never liked any kind of violence, blood, weapons. But now she was going to do it. She didn't know what more she was going to face. But she prayed to God that she got out of this hell being fine. Only if she knew her whole existence was going to change, that little girl was going to face the harsh cruel world and her whole appearance was going to change.
