I and Prince Allan stare at each other for a while like we're trying to figure each other out. He finally breaks the silence by saying something that I wasn't expecting.
"What do you think about me now?"
"Do you want to marry me now?"
Prince Allan asks and I chuckle internally.
"Maybe. You don't seem to be as bad as your first impression, but.."
"I marrying you doesn't depend on me but the Queen's decision at the end. Even If I'm leading the competition, she makes the final call."
I say smiling at the prince before adjusting my dress and standing properly.
"A lady like me who's in the process of maybe becoming a royal member shouldn't be seen with just any man in a back alley."
"I'd be taking my leave now your highness.
I bow to the prince before I start making my way back to the main market.
"My lady!"
I hear Edith's voice and I quickly head towards her.
