"IT'S MY FATHER'S HOUSE!"
"THOSE BONES THAT ARE ARRANGED TOGETHER IN THAT ROOM IS MY FATHER!"
I shout at the Count who is now looking at me in shock. His eyes widen at my words and he slowly stands up and comes towards me.
"What did you just say?"
He says in a shaking voice but he still sounded scary. I couldn't say anything because of the way his fingers are digging into my shoulders.
"I said what did you just call him!!"
The Count shouts again at me.
"That man, Sir Jose Sullivan is my father!"
His arms seem to go weak and he lets go of my shoulder.
"Where did you hear that from?"
"Just because he's your uncle doesn't mean he's your father!"
The Count says trying to sort of confuse me.
"Why do you keep lying?"
"The fact that I'm Leila, not Vivian!"
"The fact that you're my uncle, not my father!"
"And the fact that I'm not the child of a mistress, why do you keep lying about it?"
