Something ached in my chest and I wasn't having it.
" Can I talk to you? I wanna ask you something." I quickly stopped her before she left.
she turned to face me with an expected look on her pretty face. Wait wha? did I just think that?!
" I'm listening," she said catching my attention and removing me from the trance I was caught up in.
" so uhm, I was... uhm." I startled. what is wrong with me!? I'm just talking to her, a friend.
"soon..." she continued from me expecting me to talk
"ok, let's just say it, I'm the cool guy here. " I would very much love to give you rides from now on and talk to you more." here, I said it!
" oh? I thought it was something else," she replied while chuckling.
I could almost feel my ears heat up with embarrassment. what did she expect me to say?
