Chapter 18 - PART 3

Getting out of the car, the cold air hit me in the face. I was so warm in Rick's car, it was so comfy. when I faced the direction I was going, I was greeted by a mansion with lights in the right place giving the right lighting and it almost made me feel like I'm walking through a 70s movie. It was grand! I wondered who thought of this architectural design, they should be given a Nobel prize. Rick came around to hold my hand and lead me towards the compound to get to the house. Entering the house, I was greeted by many faces which looked my way. Some people looked surprised, some girls with too much make-up looked pissed off, and I saw some elderly people look disturbed or disappointed, or curious. This was too much of a reaction for just our entry! Why the reaction though? I saw several people coming over then some by reaching to where we were standing greeted.
