Chapter 53 - THE ATTACK

Staying in the hideout building was tiresome and boring. I know I had a lot of things I needed to do and responsibilities too but that doesn't deny the fact that it wasn't fun. I did all kinds of things like helping people when they needed attention, trying to help them as much as I could. I sometimes would play and hang out with the kids encouraging them that it would be alright. I also managed the food stock and the cooking, doing everything they requested me for as instructed according to the plan. Despite all of these, I still felt like I needed to be there, besides Rick fighting. I wanted to protect him too, the adrenaline like that I used to get back when I was street fighting. It looks like I'm being selfish but it feels just right.
