Frankenstein hissed when his arm was torn right off. Blood spurted from the injury. Quickly, he constructed a makeshift arm using the rage energies he gathered earlier. A new arm grew from his shoulder. He didn't bother constructing the suit fabric over it.
Another clawed fist broke his recently healed jaw, followed by an uppercut that flung him into the air.
Long Wei was done keeping it nice. Frankenstein had no reason to live in this world anymore. Insulting his father to his face was reason enough. Yet the fool thought it smart to throw his mother into the mix. His raging emotions were still there, but he made certain to keep them at bay, reducing the amount of rage Frankenstein could siphon.
He met Frankenstein in the air, grabbed a bundle of the fabric of his suit, and launched him into the air. Those with exceptional senses saw a flaming star shoot from the ground into the atmosphere in a blink of an eye. Long Wei whipped a kick from above. The kick came chopping down like a gigantic axe made for a giant, a man amongst men. The weight alone sunk the ground below without even touching it.
Frankenstein woke up from his daze and stopped himself from flying
right into it. He swished to the left. Long Wei's kick missed him by a thread. And he thanked the gods for it. A gigantic scar tore through the earth below. Chunks of earth flew into the skies. Water toppled over, flooding other places. Forests evaporated into thin air. And the destruction didn't stop for a few hundred kilometers.
Frankenstein capitalized on Long Wei's moment of instability and whipped a kick right to his core. Long way smacked it away and followed through with a fist of his own. Within seconds they exchanged a flurry of hundreds and hundreds of punches and kicks. Every few moments thunderous claps resounded, shattering the sound barrier countless times over.
The longer they fought, the more Frankenstein thought of forgoing his contract to kill the Prince. The talent he showed so far was immense. And he knew that his race was losing the eternal battle between existence and non-existence. What if he flipped the situation? The more he saw it the more he found it plausible. If there was a way he could use the Prince to his Advantage and turn the Myriad Realms golden Apple into a double agent for his side. The others were bound to respect him.
But forgoing a contract.
That was something he hoped he didn't do-
Long Wei punched Frankenstein three ways out of his thoughts. Space cracked as he shuttled through the air and another kick from Long Wei snapped his back. Frankenstein ate the world-shattering kick with no effort. Only a thud resounded. He spun in the air, connecting a kick of his own across Long Wei's cheeks.
Long Wei's head snapped to the left, but his body remained standing where it was in the air. His ears rang and shortly after, thunderous claps gushed in all directions. Long Wei grabbed Frankenstein's leg before it retracted and threw him toward the ground.
He didn't follow after. He reached into his dantian and dragged large wisps of Void Qi. The Qi spiraled onto the tip of his finger. At first, it was as small as a needlepoint. But in less time than it took a cultivator to blink, it grew to the size of a mountain.
The Qi morphed into a gigantic Vortex that vacuumed everything in its surroundings. Everything surrounding it flew into its black maul. Long Wei pointed the swirling mountain-sized ball of void qi at Frankenstein.
"Void Dragon Arts! Void of Origin!" He shouted.
His words connected to the endless bits of the Void Dao. It was as if an ancient power understood his intentions.
Purple blanketed the skies for a split second. The mountain-sized ball of qi grew to the size of an entire island. Long Wei rarely used the combat spells and techniques of the Void Dragon Arts. They were too flashy and often caused massive destruction in their wake.
Frankenstein gave him no choice.
The being was like a cockroach. No matter how much of his fists and kicks landed on him, he took it all. And not a single Injury lasted for more than a second. When he ripped off his arms. The man grew a new one in seconds. When he blasted through his chest and elbows. He grew new flesh and muscle. When he tore through his jaws, forcing him to choke on his own spit. He simply grew another jaw.
The man's regeneration abilities were relentless, almost as unbelievable as his. Void Qi at its purist had the ability to eat away at one's foundation. That statement included everything, ranging from one's future to the past, one's healing factor, regeneration, and cultivation, all of it was eaten away. He hadn't reached that level of purity, but the meager amounts he had was more than enough to hinder a handicapped God.
The Ball of Qi descended. Nothing within a thousand kilometers radius was spared. Ranging from the simple monsters that made the forests and savannas their home to the unlucky participants that found themselves within the vicinity. Aside from the select few that Long Wei selected, no one else was spared.
Frankenstein slammed into the ground. He coughed out the dirt and dust that wedged between his teeth and lips. He rubbed it all with his hands. A sudden pulse of immense power from above made him question his decision to hold back his full strength. The clouds rumbled and thundered. Purple light flashed. A ball made from materialized on Long Wei's finger.
Void energy? He knew he was fucked.
As a being that hailed from the legendary non-existent plane, Frankenstein never had to worry about most abilities and powers cutting through his defenses let alone interfering with his healing process. But the Void was something else entirely. It was more than just a Dao amongst the Three Thousand Heavenly Dao. It was the ruler of them all. For all things that exist and do not exist came from the Void Itself. It was a supreme concept that made the Void-Dragon Emperor a true powerhouse amongst the Various God Realm experts within tr Myriad Realms. Even Ancient Devils from the Non-Existent Plane feared him.
He couldn't take that attack as casually as he did try to rest. The amount of Void Qi in it was far too much for him to do that. He closed his eyes. Rage. Rage was an emotion being of this plane felt when things never went to plan. When constant obstacles came and toppled over all of one's goals. This was one of those moments.
He got the pulse of rage, not only from the people that left their last cries of shock as Long Wei and Him killed them during their battle but also from the rage of this world. The pain it went through destroyed the land, waters, and skies of this place. Putting thousands of spatial scars within its space. He felt it. He felt it all.
Using Long Wei's rage against him was the weakest of the abilities he mustered so far through their battle. One man's rage wasn't the purpose of the Dao he mastered. It was far greater. Aside from Long Wei's rage and the planet's rage. He could summon his own Rage and siphon it. That was where he gained his strength. Using his own Rage skillfully in combat.
For a second. The world. Stopped.
Frankenstein unveiled a tenth of his true powers as all the rage gathered from the world gushed to him. It washed over him. And his eyes took on a pure white hue. His long hair followed right after his eyes, becoming as white as the dress of a lady on her wedding day. His purple skin bulged. The suit he had on ripped off him as massive black wings sprouted from his spinal column. His nails sharpened.
"You have really madey day," Frankenstein's voice came out as playful as before. Only, the intention was understood, but the execution was not. His voice sounded deep and scratchy, as if a thousand voices spoke all at once.
Frankenstein flapped his ink-black wings. He soared towards the island-sized ball of void qi and thrust a palm at it. Large orbs of air, laced with flaming red rage shot one after the other. He made certain to lace each blast with the purest form of rage he could muster. When the blasts struck against the gigantic orb of void qi, he snapped his finger.
"Rage Art: Eternal Rage," He whispered.
The Heavens heard him nonetheless. Red layered on top of the purple flashes in the skies and vast amounts of energy came from the space surrounding the planet. And by divine baptism, Frankenstein's attack exploded with divine might pushing back the Long Wei's Void Qi Orb.
The turn of events disgusted Long Wei. He reached deeper into his dantian and churned large amounts of Void Qi into his attack.
The Rage Flames and the Void Qi had a battle of massive proportions. The hot waves that gushed out from them singed everything they passed through, whether it be air or land. In every spot, the waves went burned to a crisp and then evaporated shortly after.
