Chapter 22 - Meeting Mizuki

"This is a storage ring. It has over 400 meters of space. You can store everything you need in it." Lia explained. With a wave of her hand, everything disappeared into the ring. She handed it to him. Now that his business here was done, he had to leave.

The maids left. Lia stood up and walked towards him. "Okay, times up I know you need to leave but be cautious there are many dangerous entities roaming your world. Now go." She waved and he disappeared. Being the Princess, she could leave and go as she pleased from the Vampire world.

Karl's vision turned dark. He looked around as he appeared at the top of where they were at first. He felt bad leaving without seeing the wonders of the Vampire world. But he was not in a ruch at all. That world helped him advance far better than Earth. It was like removing fish from the sea to a pond. That was his feeling now.

That night people saw a golden beam of light shoot and disappeared without trace. Those with faith knelt and started praying to their God's hoping for miracles.

It was 6:00 am in the morning. He woke up and prepared for the day. He had to be quick since he knew he had a guest any time soon.

He entered the kitchen and started preparing breakfast.

He kept his divine sense active. He wanted to prepare for any surprise. It didn't take long for him to hear a door bell. He immediately went to welcome his childhood friend. He was slightly nervous. After she went to Japan they had not seen each other.

A black haired Japanese beauty stood quietly at the door patiently. It didn't take look for a silver haired man to open. They both looked at each other stunned. Mizuki looked at him but he was in no way the him she remembered.

He was very handsome with those golden eyes of his. He had well toned muscles. His body was really many women's fantasy.

The same could be said for Karl as he looked at her in admiration. She was a very beautiful woman. Those long snow white legs in high heels made her a feast to the eyes. She wore a skimpy sapphire dress that tightly highlighted her gorgeous figure.

She had medium sized breasts, a slender waist, plump ass, long black hair that reached her back and a flawless skin. She was woman many men could hope to get but it was a distant dream. She flushed a bewitching smile.

"How have you been all these years, you are now more handsome than last time I saw you." She said. Karl allowed her in and led her to the living room.

"Am still the me you know nothing will change that fact though now I can say am an improved version of my past. The same for you, you look more beautiful." He said looking at her directly in the eyes. "You have come at a right time. Break fast is ready."

Mizuki sat down at the table as he instructed. He went to the kitchen and came back with trays of food and coffee. She looked at him in an apron and chuckled.

"Since when did you know how to cook, the last time you tried at my place it was a disaster." She asked with a mocking smile.

"Are you questioning my abilities woman. I am a professional at this you know." He said as he served out the food. Seems she never changed even when away.

"Ooh, do you think I will fall for your words. Prove me wrong then."

Karl skillfully removed the apron. Like a skilled chef he walked confidently and opened one of the dishes. A sweet aroma enveloped the room. He smiled broadly as he saw her shocked expression. Indeed, the last time he cooked wasn't a good experience but now it was different as sometimes he had to cook for himself.

"HAHAHA-" He couldn't stop himself from laughing. He was amused by her reaction. "Any way let's settle and dig in. The food is getting cold."

She nodded. She couldn't help but flash a sweet smile. It wasn't every day that a woman got a chance to be cooked for.

Karl had thought their meeting would be very awkward but seems he was thinking too much.

"It's delicious you have good skills. How about you become my personal chef." Mizuki said and looked at him. He was very handsome and this would be very dangerous for mortal women. They might develop high standards for men and would never marry. Even she herself couldn't stop from glancing at his face occasionally.

"No, thanks. I think I will pass on that." Karl replied instantly. "How was life there anyway."

As soon as those words escaped his mouth he immediately regretted it. Her gaze on him became intense. 'Here it comes, why did I even bring it up.'

"I can't believe you ask that. If you had called I would have told you or even showed you the place where I was living. It reached a time when I thought you had forgotten me." Mizuki said staring at the ceiling. One had to know that these two were very close that he sometimes slept at her mansion. So she was very reluctant when heading to Japan.

Worst of it all they never communicated at all until she was back. She had really grown attached to him in some way or another.

"It's not like I never tried but the call couldn't connect however much I tried. Over three months of constant failure I gave up. I could only wait for your return." He said. Here he was talking to someone he held dear as she meant much to his life.

Mizuki stared into his eyes but all she saw was sincerity. He never lied to her even once.

Now that he was completely on the supernatural side, nothing could stop them. Her mother's concerns now were invalid.
