Chapter 34 - The Dawn of Antiquity: The Arrival of the Dark God - Chapter Thirty-Four

I felt my backside being dragged across rough terrain. Most of the pain I'd endured was gone. The enhanced healing, I was engineered with must have finally kicked in. Still, my body took a beating. There's only some much damage a body can take, no matter how well-built it is. Whatever those people did to me hadn't worked as far as I could tell. My captors hadn't noticed I was awake. Wherever they were taking me, I wasn't about to let them. With my strength recovered somewhat, I took advantage of their lack of attention. I position myself, attack with a sweep kick, and knock both on their asses. The first one, Aulus, didn't have time to react before I stood up, bringing my foot down on his chest. A mixture of loud cracking grew as I stomped his chest. Bone broke as metal bent down on the man's chest cavity. I left him to suffocate from his lungs being caved in.
