Impersonating an Imperial soldier has been more helpful than I anticipated. All it took was time at a few taverns to gain insight into this military build-up. The army was here because of Governor Solus Marakus Gravius. I knew of this man from my time in the legion. Lord Solus controlled the entire Northern Kingdom from the farthest borders down to the Central Kingdom. A purge of some sort was quietly occurring behind the scenes. A few nobles have already been rumored to have disappeared. Those that oppose the Governor's authority in the region. This Lord Solus would be an extreme threat to my purpose. It was to head to Pons Aelii ahead of my other selves, Primus and Dietrich. I will be in Hasta soon. A small village just southwest of the mega city. Going alone was the best way to travel unnoticed for now. Drawing attention to myself would be a risk.
