Darcy visits your office just before the semester starts. She knocks on the doorframe. "How's your shared office going?"
It should be crowded, but Blankenship is almost never here. "Fine."
"Cool." She runs her hand through her hair. She's brought bad news. "Listen, we were getting way behind on symposium planning. I ended up meeting with Taylor and hashing out how we'd select speakers. He's asked to coordinate with me instead of you going forward." Darcy has a look of almost-apology on her face. "You're still involved! Just…not as much."
