"I was shown some sort of vision," you say. "Something wanted me to see it: they showed me…well, some pretty nasty stuff." You're not sure whether telling your classmates about their violent deaths is the best way to keep everyone focused.
"I think it was supposed to rattle us," you say, pushing on. "Either that or start some infighting."
Renault nods, looking thoughtful. "Looks like we've got something's attention, then."
"We'd better tell Matron about that once we're back," Michelle says. She glances at Grace. "I hope you like needles and having an electrical current run through your nervous system."
Grace stares at the zombie, taken aback. "What?" she asks. "What are you talking about?"
"Well, there'll need to be some tests done," the teenage zombie explains. "To help us figure out what exactly is going on." She nods to Grace. "You've been there: wherever there is. This…Renzfal's been in your head. There'll be things we can learn because of that."
Grace shoots Will a nervous glance before turning back to Michelle. "But…I mean, can't I just tell this…this Matron everything I've seen?"
"We need to know as much as we can," Max says, his voice gentle. "This is a serious situation, and we can't afford to leave anything to chance."
The schoolgirl doesn't look so much alarmed by this as terrified. She stares at you, her eyes wide with appeal. "Please," she murmurs, "I've been through…so much already. You can't imagine."
