"Steve, Steve you'd better open this door before your dad comes over and break it down. You've been in there for two days now, are you alright, please answer me". It was mom's voice, f*ck what has Cassy done. She knows mom is way too fragile for this. Why would she do something like this, now I agree with boobs I'm actually spoiling her. Amongst us all, mom is the weakest and fragile and we all including Leo loves her dearly and wouldn't let any harm befall her so we took it as our responsibility to handle our problems by ourselves but I knew Cassandra would be too young for that and that was why I took special interest in her.
It was after Cassy's birth that mom's health condition started deteriorating, she almost lost her life in the process but God saved her. Dad was quite concerned but he was always busy, he had to work extremely hard since he stopped mom from her job as a Clinical Nurse, he also stopped her from the boutique business she was running. All these were all for her health to get better but she wouldn't care for herself, she would always worry herself up over little things.
Mom I'm fine". I answered still on my bed I didn't want to go outside my room but they wouldn't let me stay. Good thing dad traveled, I reluctantly got up then opened the door for her.
"What's it dear, did your dad and I do or say anything wrong to you? Why didn't you go to school? Why are you looking so pale? Should I go get food for you? Should I bathe..."
"Mom, I'm fine". Geez what's she actually thinking, she wants to bathe a 20years old guy. Wow, that's nice. I knew if I let her in this was how it'd end. I just held her hand and moved with her to the couch in my room, even though I hate telling lies I can't possibly tell her what was going on.
"What is it dear, please speak to me I'm your mom". I was suprised when I didn't see this handsome and ever smiling face come remind me to take my drugs for two good days, is everything alright? She asked staring into my eyes as she massaged my cheeks. This woman won't stop until she hears a nice story that will convince her to stop.
"Mom, it's nothing Cassy is mad at me because I never introduced my lover to her". I answered with a slight shrug, I wouldn't dare tell a lie and I can't afford to tell her the truth moreover it was the truth but not the whole truth afterall there's a saying which says half loaf is better than none. It was better she heard some part than if she doesn't.
"Oh. My. My, why didn't you tell us? We wouldn't have been mad at you..."
"Except dad". I quickly cut in. "Sorry for the interruption". I added back almost immediately.
"No problem, as for your dad he'll surely get used to it. It isn't like dating someone is a bad thing but why didn't you tell us...Now. now. You're breaking the family apart than it already is, Leo is mad at everyone from birth Cassy is mad at you...My once happy family is breaking apart". She sobbed and started crying. Gosh, what in hell was this woman made up of, she was pretty too soft, I really hate seeing the feminine gender in tears or pain. Oops thank goodness I didn't inherit such soft traits from her except from the constant migraines I guess.
"Mom, I'm sorry and I'll fix it I promise". I continued consoling her till she stopped a bit and I led her back to her room. Thank goodness Cassy was wise enough to keep the truth from her. I quickly messaged Cassy never to tell her about what had happened. As expected the dumba** didn't reply me but I knew for sure that she got my message.
The next day at school, I had to find a person I can trust that'd spy on Cassandra at all times in order to know her plans,I wasn't friends with anyone so I quickly gave it to Boody in order to avoid telling a betrayer.
I also gave blitche enough lectures about courage because I knew for sure that she had the strength to fight them but the courage wasn't there, she'd definitely shrink to nothing if she sees Cassy and her friends. I said all I knew that will guide her of I wasn't around, I even had had to advise her to use her vampiric strength if the need arises. I talked what I called sense into her. I told her to forget about what others think or say about her and move in the school with her head high, while I did all the talking she only stared at me and when I finished talking the only thing she could say was.
"Are you traveling?" . She asked, again when I didn't reply the first time. Now I really believe myself for saying that she had some psychological issues. Here I was thinking about her safety and here she was thinking about me, how would Cassandra even dare think of harming me, she would never think of such but she'll definitely think of harming her. I really have meet the craziest girls ever. First Cassy now Blitche, while Cassy was a dumba**, Blitche was a dumbhead. I didn't bother replying her, I just hissed then stood up and left her in the orchard.

"Gosh, but how did you find out? Cassandra asked still pondering on the current situation.
"I told you I was a genius so I must find out every godamn that takes place under the surface of the earth". Erica boasted proudly, the three of them were well known for their pride. Erica was the only one that once let down her pride when she proposed to Mark but unfortunately she was turned down.
"Yeah I know". Cassandra said and sipped on her drink. She really wanted to be the top and the best in discovering things but she barely got there, left with Lizzy the case was just a pushover but Erica was always there waiting for her at the top.
"You, what's up with the sober face". Erica asked referring to Lizzy.
"Yeah, she just can't take it that a tiny vampire took her crush away from her". Cassy answered with a shrug still sipping from her cup.
"Aren't you concerned? Why do you feel like it doesn't affect you? Isn't he your brother?" Erica asked surprised at Cassandra's reaction. She was supposed to be the one that should be sober but here she was chatting happily like nothing happened.
"Why should I care? He isn't my brother, how can he be my brother when he can't even tell me any single truth about him, this one was discovered how about the undiscovered ones? Please don't refer to him as my brother". Cassandra replied slightly angry
"Hmm, I guess since that godforsaken vampire had the right to trespass beyond the boundaries that were given to her, then she'll have to be taught some lessons". Erica said with a slight smirk already imagining some crazy things up in her head.
"You'd definitely think of something light because if we try harming her much,She'd definitely kill us all". Cassandra quickly and answered with fear in her tone
"She isn't a vampire, if she was why didn't she loose control of herself after the serious beating we gave her the last time". She replied smartly.
"Oh, I see but what do you suggest we do to her". Cassandra asked as she thought about what Erica just said.
"We'll K*ll her". She replied with all seriousness.
