Jackson was an unwise, indolent, egocentric, irritable, and negative young man who still resided with his parents in their Nashville home, the capital of Tennessee. His parents attempted to encourage him to live on his own, but he manipulated them into allowing him to remain in their home. He was far from a virtuous individual. One Saturday, he got out of bed and went about his daily routine before returning to his bedroom to play games all day. However, as soon as he entered his room, a massive hole materialized out of nowhere and he tumbled into it. Captain Laid was the primary leader of the Happy Pirates, who were on a quest to find the secret island of Zurina, where a hidden treasure was located. The Happy Pirates were cheerful, patient, kind, and gentle people who abhorred violence and instead sought to resolve conflicts through compromise. Captain Laid was in his cabin drinking beer and eating delicious meat prepared by his favorite and cheerful chef Tuliano. As Captain Laid took a bite of his large piece of meat, he saw Jackson fall out of a hole in his cabin. Jackson fell out of the hole and landed on the floor. Laid laughed so hard that he almost choked on his food. The Captain stood up and helped Jackson to his feet. He grinned at him as he saw that Jackson was confused and scared and even began to panic. "Hey now lad, no worries. You just appeared out of nowhere. What's your name? Would you like to join my pirate crew?" said the captain kindly.
