Hero reached into his inventory and pulled out his best suit,
"I thought I wasted my gold when I got this, I'm so glad I get to wear this now." he excitedly exclaimed. He rests the suit on the bed and sat next to it, "What should I give her, this is a first date." He thought for a bit, he looked through his inventory some more before he pulled out an ore stone and a hammer.
"Here we go!" he shouted before pulling his hammer back and slamming it into the rock.
Iron ore, common
He sighed, knowing how long this is going to take.
Iron ore, common
Iron ore, common
Iron ore, common
Iron ore, common
"Yes!"
Diamond, rare
"This is perfect, now I just have to craft a ring, luckily I'm maxed out in jewelry creation stats."
Diamon ring crafted
He jumped up and down before he put on his outfit and headed to Iris's room.
Iris was currently getting dressed, confused about why she's currently getting ready to go on a date with her enemy. She had on her best red dress, she turned around to examine herself, her hair bouncing with every twirl she takes. "I look cute." she whispered astonished by her reflection, "I must thank the maids for picking these clothes out for me." she couldn't help but smile at herself, she always wanted to go on a date with someone, even though this date has ulterior motives. "During the date I'm going to inject some mind control fluid into his food and turn him into my minion. Mwahahaha!" she turned around and exited the room, her long red dress flowing behind her. Hero was standing in the foyer, waiting on Iris to show up. Iris entered majestically walking down the stairs, "She's beautiful." Hero said in awe. Iris smirked, thinking about her devious plan. She had the vile in her dress pocket away from watching eyes. Hero held out his hand and Iris took it.
"You might feel a bit dizzy." Hero warned before quick travelling to the restaurant. Iris moved back and forth, trying to stabilize herself. She wasn't shocked by this ability; she saw Hero use this power many times. "Shall we?" Hero asked, Iris shook her head before running to the bushes to throw up, she then ran back, "Yup, ready!" she announced before they headed inside. Many of the customers inside were confused, "Isn't that the Hero and the villain." they asked looking back and forth between the two, "Why are they acting all chummy with each other." one asked.
Soon the two sat by their table and called for a waitress, "Oh aren't you the hero." the waitress asked, examining Hero, she didn't pay Iris any mind because she didn't recognize her,
"Yes." he responded plainly and dryly,
"What can I get for you."
"One of these." he said pointing on the menu,
"Okay the five-star special, coming right up." the waitress began to walk away before Hero stopped her, "You forgot my girlfriend." the waitress turned around to be faced to face with a furious Iris, upset about being so blatantly ignored. "Oh, I'm sorry miss, what would you like."
"I want what he's having." She said pounding her fist on the table,
"Are you sure, the taste is very subjective." Hero said,
"Oh shut up, I can handle it." she responded through gritted teeth.
The waitress walked away to deliver there orders, "Guys the Hero is here, we must serve him fast." she instructed, everyone in the kitchen started working hard, and soon the food was ready. The waitress brought the food to the table and delivered it, she tried to flirt with Hero but Hero ignored her while Iris glared at her. Iris tasted the food and her face instantly scrunched up.
"What the hell is this?" she asked disgusted by the taste,
"It's Haggis, and it's a mixture of many things, example a lamb's heart."
"A lambs heart! And they call me evil, I don't eat hearts."
"Animal hearts are a common dish in many countries." Hero informed her. Iris pushed the plate away from her, "Go fetch me something else." she instructed, Hero sighed but agreed, not wanting to ruin the date. Iris took this as a chance to add the fluid into his food, she reached into her pocket and pulled it out, however before she was able to open it a man grabbed her free hand, "Aren't you that evil woman who causes problems around here." he shouted in her face, Iris froze, not use to being confronted like this.
"Why are you here, what did you do to Hero!" he shouted some more, his spit landing on her face, this brought back some unwanted memories of Iris.
"Let her go." A low voice commanded, grabbing the hand of the man,
"B-but"
"Let her go, I don't want to hurt anybody." he said again. The man let go of Iris. Hero walked to Iris side and kneeled down to her eye view,
"Are you alright,"
"Y-yes, I'm fine, let's just go home." she said through wavered breath,
'I'm going to kill that man the next time I see him.' she thought to herself, devising a plan,
"I know that face, don't do it, it's just going to waste time." Hero said being the peace maker that he is,
"How did you know what I was thinking, besides I have every right to be angry."
"I guess so, but so does he." Iris rolled her eyes at this, 'and you're supposed to be my 'boyfriend'.' Iris reached into her pocket realizing the mind control fluid is gone, Hero reached into his pocket disappointed that he can't give Iris his gift anymore.
The two lied in the library couch, back-to-back to each other. "Hey hero. Why do you like me so much." Iris asked, this thought popped up in her head because of the book she was reading, she never actually took the time out to think about why he's obsessed with her until now.
"Because you're cute, kind, funny and adorable."
"But you barely know me."
"No, I know you, we knew each other a long time ago." Hero responded,
"What, when?"
"I'm not telling you; you must remember me first."
"Man." Iris complained. After Iris's little tantrum the two were silent again.
"Hey, what's you real name."
"Achilles."
"Wait what, you have a name."
