"All students evacuated the area. Now!" The Major said as he put his hand gun with special bullets loaded. The body he shot was disintegrating at a visible rate.
"Oh my god he… he just killed a student" this made the students panic as some wanted to run away. But the fear would leave them.
The aura from the major expanded around all the students. "It's so heavy" many students complain even Kai and Layla who were strong for their age.
"Let's get something clear! I was obligated to kill this student since he was infected by an unknown deceased that's currently being studied by the military. The black veins are signs of this disease now. We don't know what's causing this disease. The only thing we know is that it's coming from the forest, so if you don't want it to end like this one don't go in. SPREAD THE WORD!" The major yelled as more of his aura poured out of his body.
The students were not knocked out from the pressure and ran away from the scene. The major notices Layla and approaches her.
"Tell your father there's a threat on the school and I'll need his help along with the head of the second year student"
After saying this he glanced at Kai intensely as if he could read him like an open book. "Now" he said to Layla.
"Yes, Major Vulcan '' Layla saluted and then dragged Kai away with her. Kai took this chance to try and look at Layla Stats.

"I see using the skill allows me to see stats if I focus on a person. I guess it also depends on how strong they are. Also the rank or control doesn't seem to appear" Kai said while looking at Layla.
She noticed him looking at her. "What are you looking at stupid?"
"Huh? Sorry I was distracted" Kai stated laughing nervously.
Layla shigh before letting him know she would catch up with him later since she had to report what the major said to her father. "Well I guess I'll just go to class"
Another week had passed.

Kai had meditated and also had a couple of spars but still didn't manage to level up. But in the academy the infection situation was getting worse by the day.
Dr.Young was extremely overbooked in the infirmary with ill students. That was if they were lucky to not get caught by the special ops. Students began to riot against this vandalism of the academy and getting into fights with the staff. At least trying too. The second year section of the academy was quickly sealed off since the infection was only causing problems with the first years.
Special ops were patrolling the hallways every minute they could and punishing everyone who tried to protest.
"What the hell is this academy turning into. I haven't even seen Layla around" Kai said, getting frustrated at the situation.
Worse part of it was the fact that the outside world was completely unaware. "What can be causing this?" He then remembered something about a quest.
[Abomination]
"Can this be related to the disease?" He asked himself as he entered his room.
"They said the forest was the source. Whatever this abomination is it had to be the cause of it" Kai came to this conclusion.
In the second year area of stone edge a beautiful girl with brown hair was looking out the window of her room.Watching the perimeter the special ops unit put in place to seal off the first years.
"I wonder what's happening there, I hope Kai's ok" Darya said with a hint of worry in her face.
She started to play with a bubble of water before her eyes glowed blue and she waved her hand towards the wall. This led the bubble of water to shoot out at an incredible speed and the power was not lacking either; it broke the wall in front of her.
She then pulled up a mask and jumped down the building and ran towards the first year section.
"Are you sure this is wise? I sense the natural balance has been broken by a human" a female voice echoed inside her head.
"If that's true. Then I'll have to deal with that too, don't you think" Darya answered the voice with confidence.
"Don't fool yourself, you're just worried about that boy" the voice responded in annoyance.
Darya ignored this comment as she approached the perimeter. It was heavily guarded with special ops units.
"They must ask for reinforcements" looking closer she noticed something that soured her mood.
"Prototype weaponry. They're using Mythic imbue bullets for a quarantine, something inside there is definitely a threat" she said.
Little did she know that threat would cause problems not just for her but her dear friend Kai.
Kai was laying on his bed thinking of what to do about this. "The abomination I have to deal with" he eyes glowed red for a second.
*Knock*
*Knock*
Kai quickly stood up and went to the door, only to find Layla sweating and breathing heavily. The veins in her neck were pulsating and turning black.
"Layla what happened to you?" He said worried he had seen this before.
"I'm sorry Kai special ops are looking for me but they'll kill me and father isn't in the academy right now" Layla said huffing.
Kai heard steps coming from the lobby he quickly pulled Layla inside by the waist and shut the door.
He placed Layla on his bed. "Damn what can I do?" He cursed himself.
Layla was visible in pain and Kai was panicking. He hated to admit it but Layla did manage to sneak her way into the few people he called friends.
"Stay here I'll lock the door so they think I'm not here I'll be back" he ran out of the room heading to the forest.
Arthur saw Kai running and frowned upon this. On the rooftop of the dorm Darya also saw her friend running and started to follow.
Kai sneaked his way to the forest when he opened his eyes wide open. Just in the entrance of the forest was so much blood even with Kai's iron stomach he was finding it difficult not to puke.
But that thought quickly as he sensed something behind him.
[Second Step]
He appeared behind the person that was behind him. He punched the person in near the right ribs; the person was propelled forward and landed on the ground.
"What the hell Kai?!" Arthur said, complaining
