That is not the case at all. It is not possible for me to be the partner of a monster who is responsible for the death of my closest friend, who was treated as though she were a kind of species deemed appropriate for butchering in order to prepare a tasty meal.
"I want to talk to you, but you've been acting condescending toward me the whole time you've been here," I said to her while maintaining an authoritative demeanor.
Her eyes widened slightly, betraying a hint of surprise at my assertiveness. Despite her initial reaction, she composed herself and responded with a composed yet defensive tone, "I apologize if my behavior has come across as condescending. Is there something specific you'd like to discuss?"
