LANA
Today, I must confess, was the worst day I ever had within the week.
Two ugly things happened today. First was the death of Cerise, and second was Ben resuming work.
I was sent into the chambers when I interfered in Cedric's business with the dungeon gammas, but that didn't stop me from hearing them out and seeing what was happening outside.
Those men got Cerise's hand severed, and with Cedric's reaction to the magic of Cerise's hand opening the door the moment it was laid on it, I knew they would not make the mistake of burying her with those magical hands.
They would probably cut them off and bury the rest of her body, having seen that her hands could be of great use to them.
I couldn't help weeping for Cerise. Had she not been silly, she couldn't have been the one whose corpse was dragged into the so-called morgue a while after the dungeon gammas who brought the corpse had left.
