However, beneath this newfound optimism, an unsettling feeling gnawed at Kane. It was as if something hidden lurked beneath the surface, just out of his grasp. This sensation troubled him, hinting at undiscovered mysteries waiting to be revealed. Kane knew there was more to this seemingly promising world than met the eye, and he was determined to uncover its secrets, even if it meant delving into the unknown.

Kane returned to the forest and then dashed toward the giant lake again. He found some giant bats along the way and ate them, but he quickly realized that it would take months for him to evolve for the first time. He felt like he had spawned in the easiest area of the world and that explained why the beastmen looked so strong, they probably got stronger fighting other threats.
