Kane recalled his fight with the human hero and while the human hero got angry most of the time, he always looked calm when he used his technique. It was weird to confirm that since Kane doesn't feel anything when he uses the spells that he knows.
While Kane was thinking about all that, he was attacked numerous times… Still, while that had been annoying, it also made him increase his focus thanks to his sense of urgency. Little by little, he began to feel his mana better and he began to be able to control it as well. At some point, Kane began to spend his mana for that, but he was fine with it since it was a sign that he was making progress.
Despite making progress, Kane hit a wall when it came to putting magic into his sword. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't figure out how to make it work. He felt like giving up, thinking maybe it wasn't meant to be.
