Kane dropped his shield and grabbed the spearman's weapon. As Kane stood over the defeated spearman, a calculating thought crossed his mind. The fallen enemy could potentially serve as an effective defense for him, and the spears in the man's hands could become his new weapons. With a quick assessment of the situation, he made a decision to make use of the fallen adversary's equipment.
