The journey south took four days… Kane ran the whole time, but that country was larger than he had imagined. Still, on the third day he began to feel the temperature dropping and eventually he saw the snow covered mountains in the distance.
"I am here for more… but I need to decide how I will deal with them," Kane thought.
Kane's mind raced as he continued his determined run toward the snow-covered mountains. The strategy that had served him well before still lingered in his thoughts – luring the adversaries into the dungeon's depths, where the terrain itself could become his ally. Yet, he knew that this time would be different. The enemies he faced had likely grown wiser and more experienced, their guard raised to unprecedented heights.
