Kane rested for the rest of the day, but at noon, he approached the town in order to see the movements of the people there. The guards were still patrolling while the civilians were barely leaving their homes. Kane wished that he could be sure that they wouldn't call for allies, but it didn't matter, he was going to end things tonight.
"I don't think that they have more surprises in store, but I should be careful just in case," Kane thought. "I shouldn't try to save arrows either, their crossbows will be a better option once I get some of them, some ammo and understand how it works."
Putting that aside, Kane wondered why he didn't find any other monsters like him until now. Even if people were playing safe, some of them should be spawned in that region… he could think that the system was trying to screw with him, but he couldn't be certain either.
