In the end, the path that Kane felt kept close to the forest for quite a while, but eventually it got further away. It didn't make any sense unless some obstacles were nearby, since it was dangerous for the travelers to get closer to the forest that had monsters. Until now, Kane didn't find any monsters outside.
"Well now, should I keep going around the forest or should I check the road…" Kane rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I suppose I can check at night since it will be hard for anyone to find me."
It was mid-afternoon and since it has been a while since Kane had any nap, he decided to take one and rest until night and check the path. With his speed, he should be able to cover one hundred kilometers with ease.
Those three hours passed in the blink of an eye and Kane felt really refreshed after that nap. So, as soon as it got dark enough, he began to run toward the road.
