That had been easier than expected… perhaps their strength comes from the fact that they work well as a group. Kane confirmed that when the nearest enemies tried to stab Kane with their spears and their movements mirrored each other completely.

Kane's instincts kicked in as the enemies pressed on, and he focused on his defense. He swiftly raised his spear to block a thrusting spear aimed at his chest, the clash of metal ringing through the air. The impact sent a jolt of pain through his arm, but he gritted his teeth and held his ground.

With lightning reflexes, Kane then reached out with his left hand and grabbed the shaft of another incoming spear. The blade sliced into his palm, drawing blood, but he refused to let go. Using his superior strength, he pulled the enemy closer, closing the distance between them.
