Since Kane had too much time on his hand in that job of watching things outside the forest, he decided to make good use of that free time and make some protection. He could see some scratches on the gloves, thanks to the carnivorous plants' attacks, but overall, the snake's hide was pretty resilient. Although the hide was quite smelly, Kane decided to use the snake's hide that he still had and protect other important parts of his body.
"If I manage to make something that can protect my vitals, I will be able to fight more freely and worry less about dying. Thus the battles will become faster and easier," Kane said to himself while he was looking at the remaining hide that he still had. "With this much, I will be able to make some pieces that can protect my knees and elbows… I guess I can use them to attack as well."
