Chapter 64 - Watch (2)

Although Kane wanted, he decided not to hunt anything on the first day. Instead of that, he climbed a random tree and stayed hidden there for a full day watching the surroundings and mainly the direction where that city was. However, he didn't see a single thing in all directions… be monsters, animals, or humans of that world.

"I didn't see any roads when I was on that hill, and Jacob didn't mention them either," Kane muttered. "So, they probably only come to this area to hunt goblins and collect some monster bioproducts."

There was a chance that some scouts might come from that city at night. It would be pretty dangerous for someone who doesn't have good eyes to move in the middle of the night. It also would be close to suicide move without a torch, but it wouldn't be weird if a person who decides to do something like that might have a few tricks upon their sleeve. For example, a spell that grants anyone the ability to see things clearly at night.
