Background:
Elementals, like witches, don't require spells in order to use their magic. The precision needed to properly manipulate an element to do exactly as intended is something not easily achieved, especially within schooling years. These spells were originally created as away to direct their energy to do as intended and remove any risk of loosing control.
These spells can also be used by powerful magic users who aren't Elementals. Though on a much more minuscule level it is still possible.
