These chapters will appear throughout and are entirely skippable. it should be relatively short, and each one will just explain the current exam/testing going on. If you feel like you have a decent understanding, you can skip this.
Preliminary Exams: The tests that are given out at the beginning of the school year. The scores are used to place the students in their respective class.
Class A requires a minimum of 401 points on the exams. To put that in perspective, a student would have to correctly answer around 82% of the questions on each test. Effectively, they would have to get a B on every test, in theory at least. There are small margins of error. For example, getting 100 in math/English and getting lower scores in others.
The way it's set up is to test your academic capabilities, but more importantly, place the students with others of their skill range. At least, the ones that try, at least.
The points per week are allotted to the whole class, and each student will receive a class rank (To Be Determined [TBD]) that will dictate what percentage of the class' point total they get. For a refresher, the points are used to buy things within the school.
Class F is the failing class. Basically, as long as they have more than 10 students total, they will take a small test every week. The person with the lowest score on that test gets expelled and is no longer allowed within the academy.
The school also will conduct "Individual exams" which are special activities that allot points and/or take them away. At least, as far as Mizune knows.
At their enrollment, every student was given 1000 points on entry. They aren't being changed currently. The preliminary Exams are just to set up their weekly income.
As it always is, the more points you have, the safer you are.
If you have questions or concerns, comment here and I'll answer whenever I'm around. (In terms of the school system. Questions about Mizune's past will largely remain unanswered.)
